what we need, and im sure Tom is aware, is a stream of RNS's, each just saying a little bit of progress. We all saw the result of this with Dempsey in 2017, there were gas shows every couple of days rns.

That way it would clear out any overhang before the main event

haveapunt...47523...I would agree with this, 40-50p upon oil find and info re thickness, net pay etc and confirmation that it's P10+ ie fill to spill which also means Topaz has a good chance of having been filled.

In the longer term, for Jade we could be talking P10 = 395mln bbls +, so just call it 400mln bbls. With light oil the recovery factor can be as high as 50%+, let's stick with 40% of 200mln bbls = 80 mln bbls recoverable at $10/bbl in the ground and proven to flow = $800mln * c. 0.77 $/£ = £560mln or 70pps based on approx 800mln shares in issue after CLNs close and cash raise for testing. Add in some value for Topaz and Duyung, say 20pps, total potential near term target is 90pps...of course market almost always applies a discount, so 45,50,60p sound reasonable near term targets.

In 12 months time we could be drilling Topaz in the next weather window, which if successful would potentially be P10 891mln BBls, call it 900 * 50% = 450mln bbla x 40$ RF = 180mln bbls recoverable * $10 in the ground = $1.8bln * 0.77 = £1.36bln. Let's say there's 900mln shares in issue by the time Topaz comes around,

add up the possible value

Jade = £560mln
Topaz = £1.386mln
Duyung = £40mln (a guesstimate
Total = £1.986bln/900mln shares = £2.20 in a little over 12 months time for an outright sale?

Very simplified and all prices as examples

Past placings sometimes had bonus warrants attached
So just as an example if you bought 100,000 shares in a previous placing at for example 6p you were given the option to buy an additional bonus warrant at for example 9p (as an example the ratio might be 1 bonus warrant for every 2 placing shares bought)
So some folk are now buying the warrants that they were given in previous placings

Perspective £1 values EME at circa £800mil mcap without production. Granted risk reduction, booking reserves etc, but even so. My guess is buy out of the asset with some form of free carry. Can’t see cash being raised to drill topaz or pearl

It’s not going to £1 on an oil strike. People get so carried away. Maybe on commercial post flow test but with CLN, warrants, bonus warrants, special warrants all between 9,12 and 18p, it’s more like 40-50p tops. The only way this hits £1 is post flow test with volume in excess of P10.

Its worth remembering.

The company said quite clearly..........

26 days drilling to TD based on "trouble free" progress. Drilling slows the deeper you get, casing needing to be run takes a lot of time.....and they go really slow through reservoir - not wanting to damage the formation.

10th April spud

26 days "trouble free" drilling takes us to Friday 6th of May.

They may be a few days early or a few days late - but expectation should be around the 6th of May for TD to be hit - with full LWD results released then on Monday 9th of May.

However, they may decide to update next week with a progress report - or they may now keep radio silence until TD. Nobody knows.

Just sit back and enjoy the ride, if its good news - hold on for the rise to 100p levels through massive rises and treeshakes. If its bad news expect the share price to fall 75% on the bad news, and then recover over the weeks and months following to around 10p with Mako GSA news.

My advice, if I were to be asked - dont use margin, dont use spread bets, dont use CFD - just buy real shares and hold them.....because if bad news comes you can wait for the recovery after the crash without any worry or margin calls.

Do you all not think though 26 days drilling is what is said. why?

Lets put it like this if you owned the company or controlled the company you would always cater for mishaps delays etc.. If the drillers told me it will take 22 days to reach target depth I would certainly add on a few days buffer to manage expectations.

We could well be at target depth in 20 to 23 days me thinks??
