Imagine the venom & shouting down anyone would have suffered if they had suggested in Nov last year that it would be February & not only would we not have spudded but the survey wouldn't even have happened nor the permits confirmed & oh, we've lost best part of 2 million dollars somewhere.Yet here we are & still no idea when the survey will happen.Shambles

Anyone smell a rat? Did you expect the spud on the 25th December? Did you anticipate the misfortune of the money going astray? Weather, hey. Another misfortune? Watching the share price as an indicator? Up,down? Was it supposed to be like this? The prospect is "fill to spill". Everyone loaded up? Perhaps it is time to anticipate the next misfortune in the bigger picture.

WTI just breaking $88

I think there were a lot of buys around the 5.8/5.9 mark and they have been sold into this rise which originally supported the price a bit but then has held it back from hitting 7p. Look back through the trades and there were a lot of 250k buys and now a lot of 250k sells. Long term this is all just noise.

You would hope the overhang is being well chewed into as the buying does seem pretty solid.Doesn't seem to have been any catalyst for the buying though?

A significant number of buys just 5 minutes ago but only moved the offer up slightly, and it was WINS, they must be short !!!

Poor things !!!

There's a rumour on Twitter that the survey has been completed and drilling permitted. The rig is in place and the well spudded. One of the drilling crew was seen hitting golf balls at a protesting Greenpeace ship yesterday.Drilling was suspended 2 hours ago when a helicopter arrived and evacuated the entire crew. Apparently they are needed to destroy a comet on track to collide with Earth. I've been looking at "Comet Watch" and the comet I favour is GH-875-WU although I am keeping an eye on a few others. Anywho, it's nice to know progress is being made.
