Begorrah , PB01, Stewart.

The action taken is all part of the process, it was COSL server that was hacked I think we will get the money back COSL hasn't stopped the preparations to do the drilling because they hadn't received those funds, have they?

Chill guys you all seem to be getting knickers in a twist. :) I'm more interested in when we drill/survey and of course, the Duyung / Conrad project when do we get the GSA agreements signed off.

Typical EME comment, why should we be surprised that it raises doubts in investors minds, something, over the years, we have become accustomed to.

No way will the money still be in that account and it's a major irritant when focus should be on the high impact Jade well!

EME know the account number the money was paid to.. Seems they have just raised an injunction to freeze that account. I would be surprised if any money is still in that account.

Honestly, we're waiting for some news already delayed, for a drill we finally seem to be closing in on, and are now embroiled in some ridiculous side show because someone couldn't complete a basic task. It can hardly be an error put down to the stress of being overworked!

Looking like the bank isn’t going to pay us out 🤦🏻🙈

If this was a bank error it would be the bank that sorts the mess out and refunds the cash to the EME coffers. The responsibility seems to have fallen back on EME to take legal action which is worrying. Without more detail one can only assume someone at EME hasn't done their checks properly prior to sending the money perhaps sending the cash to an intermediary for payment onto Cosl.

It's an RNS that raises more questions than provides answers

Empyrean will continue to cooperate with the Singapore Police investigation into the fraud. Why would you need to state that in a RNS?

Identified the fraudster, assets frozen to speed up recovery of missing funds. At least we now know what the current situation is which is good news.

Empyrean will take the necessary steps and is taking legal advice for the purpose of pursuing recovery of the funds involved in the fraud.Wow! 5 weeks after letting the markets know it had gone missing EME are now going to take the necessary steps & legal advice about recovering the funds!Strikes me as odd that EME are taking the legal action against the alleged fraudsters & not the police doing it as would happen everywhere else.Something odd about this.
