what value Mako 2023? $70++mln?

Early estimates have been around the $30-35mln mark

With a doubling of the reserves due to increased aerial extent etc, and additional formations below, it could double and double again!

Saf...Many on here a couple of months back valued Mako at 3-4p I know there is now talk of more value, however there is still a difference between 6 and 12p....Here is hoping he has something else up his sleeve.....Regards B

Tom mentioned breakthrough news on Mako which is an interesting term and which probably relates to the facilities agreement with Medco and the GSA.
Coro referred today to " interested counter parties " for the GSA which is very encouraging. The main GSA with Sembcorp which was signed in 1999 is a 22 year agreement so the timing is about right even allowing for first prod in 2024. It is possible that EME is hoping that Mako breakthrough news will bump up the share price to the warrants price of 12p by 22 Oct. Sale of Mako does not appear to be an option for any of the JVP at this point. Very earliest date is likely to be FID in mid 2022 or even after development ( x 5 wells ) in late 2023. Mako could well be a mega field ( including the deeper targets which are in the process of being matured to drillable status ) as per Tom´s earlier comments and also judging by Medco´s position on the reservoir.
Main focus on Jade drilling funding as per Gaz is JV followed by Warrants. Market equity financing if warrants are not exercised. I got the impression from Tom earlier that they are not considering any farm out until after Jade is drilled i.e. for Jade development, Topaz exploration etc.
In his prior Proactive interview Gaz mentioned that EME is working closely with two smaller contractors that they have worked with before, but not necessarily on a farm out basis. In his latest Proactive interview Gaz confirmed that over the last month EME has been liaising with these two contractors regarding the revised AGR well design. So it will be interesting to see what form any Jade drilling JV takes.

One of the points that Gaz highlighted and also had prominence in the most recent Cenlos note, was that if Jade was a success, then that hugely derisked Topaz. Gaz has now put a figure on it of 50-55% CoS. That's one hell of a risk reward scenario, for a billion barrels, at current 6p.
