For SGC maybe but not EME. We already have confirmed commercial discovery in Indonesia undergoing field development plan and 3D seismic being reinterpreted in South a China Sea after promising initial results.

Gary Jeffery, Managing Director of Sacgasco commented:"The rig and crew have safely and efficiently finished the nearby well workover and the increased gas production will be sold via the existing JV pipeline and metering connections. The re?completion provided a valuable preparation for the imminent Dempsey testing program. The arrival of the completion rig signals the beginning of the next exciting phase of the Dempsey 1?15 well.As previously advised, the Dempsey 1?15 well intersected a number of porous potential reservoir zones which resulted in significant gas shows while drilling. The high?pressure rated equipment to be used for the upcoming testing operations has been sourced. This program will follow good oilfield practise by beginning testing from the bottom of the well. The natural gas meter adjacent to the Dempsey well is ready for gas flows from the Dempsey well."

Never understood why they felt doing to the workover on an old well First when they have a deep multi zone well which is potentially company changing to SGC and it’s partners. Surely the priority would have been to test Dempsey first.

They were waiting for rig 9 to be decommissioned and removed from Dempsey before Rig 3 could move on to the site, so they used the waiting time to work over a nearby well and increase production. A good use of spare time imo'

PB01......guessing your slightly west on me here in London. Thanks for the link and update. Currently under water here, only a little, but looking forward to seeing results next week.Buffy......i notice HUR is not on the list, you out there? I have a tiny holding now, 10k shares, same on sou. (Went for the jolly up on the river and got truely hammerd on our free (sic) wine). It amazes me just how confident the sou. Team are, still sure the TE8 find is not just a tiny single event field. Looking at the seismic they are shooting I guess they have done a good job on convincing schlumberger too.......lets see what unfolsds over the coming months, is going to be a long haul for the golden tickets I feel.

Maybe this is delaying tactics to secure more licences before letting the cat out of the bag.

Should be a good day for the share price. Possible news on flow tests next week.

have you had a look at HNR. results there very soon, just a chance of them doing a placing in run up to results that is holding me back from going in there big time. Been a nice rise over the last week or two, but should have a lot more to come. AIMO
good luck.

EME, AAZ, IMM for me as potential large returns

AAOG on radar but been bitten twice now so will wait to see progress actually being made on time before re-investing. Happy to pay a bit more for that reassurance too.

Well if we are honest we have all made mistakes along the way.
I hate it when you get liars that have been in a dog for years, that have gone down for those years ,but still try and say they have made a profit.
The mm's have played a blinder here again today. But not as good as me, been buying all the way down on IG and selling on the way back up now.
i have a nice few in my portfolio as well.
Not long to wait for news, well you always get a shake before news drops, just the way AIM works.
good luck all.

Hi Stewart,

Many of us have been there. I lost a very large sum using too much leverage. It’s how you respond that matters.

A very succcessful friend helped me keep the loss in perspective, and I never lost the urge to keep going.

If SAVP, AAOG and EME do what I expect them to do, I’ll be happy.

Bob,

So really workover rig could be at Dempsey any time now, cannot understand why anyone would want to sell before testing commences bearing in mind the comments on Dempsey to date, my view is that eme will continue to rise until test results, you either believe it will flow or not, if it does life changing simple as that, if not it will fall back significantly below valuation of Indonesia and China then come back to their valuation level.

After 10 bloody years I think we are at last on a real winner but nothing is certain I found out the hard way and only now have I multi bagged from 2p and below, I wrote off over a £100k so have that as tax losses, never buy more than you can afford to lose, that was my mistake.

IMHO DYOR

If Rig 3 was going to perform a work-over on one of the existing producing wells :-

3 Days Travel to location?
3-4 days to Rig up
Work-over 3 days??
3-4 days to Rig down
2 Days Travel to Dempsey location?
3-4 days to Rig up
Start Testing

So from the 4th that would be around the 24th to start testing and potentially news Friday or Monday to say rig on site?

mostly buys over the last two days and yet they keep dropped the price.
It's normally acts like this if there is forward selling of a placement.
Keep dropping the bid to get buys so the bucket shops can off load.
But i can't see any sign of a seller.Just very small PI's sells by the look of it.
Maybe they are balancing the books ready for news, just in case its bad news?
I don't know, AIM works in a strange way.

How about this for a left field event....what if the work over rig en route has stopped off at Alvares for a clean up and to see if the casing is in good shape.
