I'm also staggered by the lack of response in the share price I would agree with your reasoning Marty if this was a low COS exploration well, but drilling reports so far look to have seriously reduced the risks particularly with regards to the lower Guindina and Boxer/Lagoda intervals where the risk was higher to start with, and it looks like the well is odds on to deliver a very large recoverable resource. IMO the risk here is being out rather than being in, which is why the lack of volume the last two days is so perplexing. I'm still expecting a final surge to 24p by close. GLA

From the RNS

"Empyrean is delighted that most of the preparations are now complete and that testing at the Dempsey 1-15 well is to commence shortly."
...............................

Traders are pushing this up and down like a yoyo. The same is happenng on most AIM stock that is trading in a range. The mms love it but so long as the large holders such as toonarmy who must have the ear of Kelly & Co keep holding we should be confident that we will get a good result in the end.

Bob

I think a lot of people will have left before the results.

too much hype , coupled with too much uncertainty

brave to leave a lot of money on the table.

They will wait until things die back down assuming results are good, or pounce if any delays or hiccups

All about managing risk.

I shall have a visit to Sandy Lane once we hit the £1 mark, I feel I will miss the boat on this occasion though

If the RIG arrived 2 days ago, they might well start testing this weekend.

I'm very surprised at the muted response to the news of rig arrival and testing about to start.

Around 10mil shares traded a few days ago and share price reached 24p+ (albeit briefly) but last 2 days rather low volume.

Is everybody in that wants to be in or are a lot waiting for initial results?

I did send an email to Tom regarding China, he was very enthusiastic in his replay, which was very encouraging to me ...

They all seemed pretty excited and also confident at the AGM - so it did give a bit more substance to the way i feel.

fingers crossed ;-) not long to wait now.

tarz,

If Dempsey doesn't flow he will be at Burger King, and I will be also.

However all to date points to good flows

The delivered price (HH & transport costs) from Texas is the local price. It's not rocket science

The "premium" over the Texas price is accounted for by the cost of shipping the gas through pipelines to CA.

...................................

If that's the case why are they paying the premium to companies producing in California?
