Thanks Saf.
In addition, Conrad issued a Supplementary Prospectus earlier which,I think, in effect locks in existing and some new shareholders, for between 6 and 12 months - unless the VWAP is more than 150% over the IPO price for 10 consecutive trading days.

I read that as bullish in the intent and also with an expectation of how the price might react - especially when the GSA is announced.
Imo

"the IPO solely for the development of the Mako gas field"

The IPO solely for the development of the "Conrad share" of the Mako gas field. An important distinction. It does not help to alleviate the need for Empyrean to fund its share. I think,if anything, it might be slightly negative for Empyrean in that it appears to be successful without a GSA (one of the two " major milestones due imminently without any further funding required"). Also it might hasten the wish on the part of Conrad to start long term preparations for FID which might entail an expenditure of $1.7 million on the Empyrean 8.5% share. That's on top of £3.3 million for the loan notes.

Be careful.

Jem,

Thanks for your post yesterday. Sounds very promising. High offer take up is to be expected imo.

Conrad has issued a new presentation which I haven´t seen before in this form. Some of the slides are familiar.
It mentions that FID could be in early 2023 rather than mid 2023, so only 4 - 5 months for EME to decide whether to pursue development alongside Conrad & Coro.

( Sorry same problem as yesterday but there is a link on the stateone site )

I have helpful and others on filter so no clue what he and the other three are posting. IPO is mainly for Mako but not exclusively:-

Proceeds of the offer are primarily intended to be used for:
– maturation of the Mako Gas Field including front end engineering and long lead items required for the development of the gas field;
– further work on the joint study areas in Aceh and their conversion into a production sharing contract; and
– seismic acquisition over leads identified in both the Offshore Mangkalihat PSC and should they be converted into PSCs the Aceh joint study areas.

Please clarify. My understanding Helpfull is the IPO solely for the development of the Mako gas field. Hence would of course benefit both CORO and EME. Am I incorrect here ?

Management are responsible for the position this company is in.

Shareholders are responsible for the position their share investment is in.

There is a mistake being made at the moment. The health of the Conrad IPO and cash raising, is not connected to the future prospects of Empyrean.

"Empyrean also notes that Conrad Asia Energy Ltd, the operator and owner of 76.5% of the Duyung PSC within which Mako sits, has an IPO in Australia as a key milestone for delivery. This planned IPO may present, at the least, a useful benchmark for valuation of the Mako Gas Field"

It looks like the "least" is the outcome.

Be careful.

nametrade....just a bit of a guess...had they hit gas under pressure at the expected depth, and then drilled right through the strata, the drilling would have had to slow down as they use drilling fluids / mud to balance the pressure. This would then have also been much more expensive drilling?

Keeps them well shoed though so what of it...Gaz and Thomas have been pretty quiet for a long time...Gaz has lots of experience of drilling in SCS...Im surprised he got the drill speed so wrong....he has not put forward any explanation for this? why? How much money did that error alone cost?...how much was saved with altering the drill originally and how much more would have been saved with the extra days...These big voids of information do not instill confidence in investors....as if that needs saying...
JJ is not the only one that thinks the way he/she does....maybe try doing something about it TK and GB.....thats part of what WE are paying you for...

He should give us all a divi from any potential Duyung sale and save just enough for the drill. If it’s a gusher great, if it’s yet another duster well at least we came out with a few quid
Going it all alone on another drill (can’t see where a farm out will come from)after the experience we have had with Jade and the rest of our projects (bar one) is stupidity. Unless of course he divi’s us all a few pence prior to drilling
That’s if we survive that far
Again only my opinion
