2 more buys to come this week which should complete repurposing of my first batch of Oct Nov buys from last year. Then I can begin to repurpose the second batch of buys from Oct Nov last year, and that will take at least about 3 months

Kev - They are using LWD so if there are gas indications or oil indications - then we have some news prior to Target depth meaning we could hear something 1 week before TD.

Having said that I`m happy to wait 8 days into a 26 day drill - Anticipation is building.

Unlikely we will hear anything about oil shows by next weekend.

The well spudded on the 10th April and I quote:
"The Jade well is anticipated to take approximately 26 days to drill to Total Depth on a trouble free basis. There are no overly challenging drilling zones anticipated with the Jade well design and program. If the Jade well intercepts a hydrocarbon zone, as anticipated, then testing is planned to take approximately a further 2 weeks."

The experience of the drill crew and their knowledge of the local area from previous wells would lead me to believe that the 26 day estimate is a pretty good indicator of the drill time. On that basis I expect we will get close to target depth by the first week of May (trouble free). AIMHO

Jade to take us to 100p a share, and Topaz to take us to 500p a share........thats enough for me.......dont care about Pearl, as I would have an obscene profit already in the success case :)

I'd be happy enough with a Jade and Topaz discovery. Pearl with a 15% CoS, I think it a possibility that the company will not bother drilling it a quit while they are ahead.

So they did not have the full/relevant data to be able to know if the gas cloud exist over Pearl

As a result, it is Empyrean’s interpretation that the Southern part of the Pearl River Mouth Basin, where Block 29/11 is located, is behaving similarly to all worldwide basins, where the presence of gas clouds have resulted in large discoveries of oil, and/or gas clouds have been shown to be present post discovery on 3D seismic. Presence of well-defined gas clouds in the overburden on both the Jade and Topaz structures mitigates the exploration risk on these prospects significantly.

Also, Emyprean said that its Pearl prospect does not have 100% coverage with 3D seismic to enable the same comprehensive analysis and assessment at this point in time.

I been regularly buying HZM since January too, same method as EME. If want a bit lower risk exposure to fully funded play for next 2 years while they develop Brazil nickel project, I got you covered there too. I group message Mr Tom with a HZM insider so they learn from each other with respect to effect of regular buys on support and price growth, alongside sustainable newsflow generation.
