Well although I was hoping for an up day I was happy to snaffle another ten grand at 10.1p and stuff them into Mrs Soggy's ISA.

The quicker the CLN's are converted the better. Great volume to soak them up before news. Last thing we want is them being sold into the rise if we hit oil. Who cares what the price is this week/next week, it is what happens to the share price once those gas clouds prove to be the clue to Jade and Topaz being successful. Have a great Easter all!

That's feeling I had too. Maybe even Tom has had a word in their ear. Clear out before the news. The seller or CLNs, seemed intent on selling at whatever the prices today.

Seen from the position of the CLN holders, we have gone from a time when we meandered from month to month with nothing happening to a time when we have surveyed, moved the rig and started drilling where news could break at any time. If the aim is to sell ahead of news, suddenly there is time pressure. With a long weekend during which it not possible to trade but the news clock still turns there may have been a push to sell today of all days, and it has felt like it. Maybe it is a turning point. (Seen from a well-half-full point of view)

Well I thought this would be a superb week for the share price but its been hugely disappointing, get these CLN's out of the way and end the sells of derisking together with profit of those perhaps who have made a 100% and I guess its understandable.

That said the return on this drill and Duyung makes the above in my view debatable, each to their own.

Coro Energy plc Their RNS headed ' Successful Completion of Debt Restructuring ' was only announced this past Monday 11 th April. In Mark Hoods interview with Proactive Investor on Wednesday 13 th April he advises how the extension of Coro s debt facility will take them to first gas from Duyung. Hopefully an update from TK next week ; plus potential buyer ( s ) in Far East now reassured. Please DYOR. IMHO.

GCOS

Q Do you know on the geological chance of success which factor in that measure was found to be the least certain?

A Mr Slarratt
From my analysis, we have perfect feeder channels, rock type, porosity and permeability, 4 way up dip trap, two highly pressured feeders and the best looking seal in place with gas clouds. It is as perfect as you can get. Apart from offshore it is a work of art

With regards to GSA, Tom said on Monday that it was very close, but will happen when it happens. He has no control on timing. So could be Tuesday. Could be Tuesday week. Etc.I'm happy that it will happen very soon and it substantially underpins current s/p.Imo

HAF,

One needs to know the variables that go to make up the resulting COS to appreciate how high or low the COS is.

Gas clouds in the overburden is reassuring to me because of the 100% success rate in the area with the same gas clouds. It’s not a guarantee of success.

Perhaps if you appreciate that four factors, each with a COS of 80% only give a total COS of 40.96%!

Hi Buffy, you said, "I am reassured by the gas clouds", but surely their presence still only brings the CoS to 41%.

IIRC you liked the most recent RNS for its transparency. But what throws me a bit is that under the 'well objective' heading the first paragraph ends with the revised CoS figure.

Then the next two paragraphs revisit the issue of why the company believe the likelihood of success is good.

Does this mean that 41% does not take all the positive variables into account?

If it does then 41% should have been the last item of information.

I do hold here on the basis that the results RNS is more than likely not include the word 'pleased'.

Personally I disagree. You will always have the CLN holders wanting a free carry now the drill is turning. You have a lot of PIs de-risking too. In fact, we have only been (in reality) around 12p as 12.5-13 was knocked back in minutes each time. Therefore, even with these big sells we are only trading 15-20% lower at 10p. Whereas a month ago we were 6.5p so still a net 50% odd increase. The sells have been absorbed very well in fact on what has been relatively small volume at times. I’m certainly not reading much into it, as as we get closer to TD you’ll probably see more speculative buying pressure from
The retail market. At this stage no one knows anything as the drill isn’t deep enough to even know if we have or do not have oil. The only news that could leak is Mako. If we had huge selling at day 20 of 26 I would be more concerned (look at 88e), but at this stage, it’s “as you were” as they say

It is puzzling how big money is urgently trying to get out whilst PI's are filling the void by 'averaging down' etcWhy doesn't any of the conversion money (if that is what it is) that is heading for the exit, think it is worth hanging in here?I get that their business model is realise a profit rather than an 'unnecessary' risk but it would be a little more reassuring if they weren't so keen to be out of here.

Chart wise we are in a demand area now, so I will be surprised if we go much lower. Also oversold on the 4 hr STOCH. imho.

8p seems likely by week end. Could be a good top up opportunity for those who think drill success will materialise.
