27/2/2021 08:35 | Graham Clarke , Chief Executive Officer of Emmerson, commented: "We are delighted with the strong support shown by both some significant new investors and also a number of our existing investors, which further endorses their strong belief in the potential of Emmerson and the Khemisset Project. These funds enable us to continue to make strong progress as we move ever closer to the commencement of construction. "While our main focus in the short term is on securing the environmental approval and strategic financing discussions, we will now commence site investigation work to feed into the commencement of detailed design whilst also working on our SOP project, salt strategy and expansion of both the life of mine and the potential for increasing our output which present growth opportunities to improve our already outstanding economics. "With this funding and our mining licence in hand, we see 2021 as a pivotal year for our development as we aim to become the first y potash producer in Africa." | the chairman elect
26/2/2021 21:48 | The placing was inevitable as I called out recently. Remember they would have commenced these conversations when price was in the 4’s. The recent investor presentation was purely to try and strengthen hand but to date they have not managed to get decent traction on the share price We will no doubt drop to circa 5.75p next week and therein presents the opportunity. Not at all concerned with the move to AIM as flexibility and cost are the most important dynamics given the market cap and where the business is in its road map. Significant Opportunity here remains intact but need to keep expectations realistic | sloppyg
26/2/2021 20:30 | All you idiots predicting it being done alot higher 🤣💦 and now saying we'll done.....hilarious. A complete rampers rose tinted thread. They shafted you good and proper like I told you they would.....numpties you deserve it all 🤣💦 | qsmeily456
26/2/2021 19:53 | If they got 5.75. Why couldn't it of been available to current shareholders or the wider market....at a higher price...if it filled so quickly. | apfindley
26/2/2021 19:15 | Nice and quick, no problem raising the money, and above the minimum price of 5.5p proposed. It's disappointing that the City shorters and front-running spivs clearly knew about this at least a week ago IMO. I think our management still need to learn about this. Imagine if they had announced the Licence, and then suspended the share at 8p pending an announcement about raising money (as they do in Australia). It would have been raised at 7p+.Anyway it's done now. Let's move forward quickly to close the main finance by May/June say.NAI | cyberbub
26/2/2021 19:14 | Good, pleased to get this out of the way in one good sized placing, management can push on with the milestones now without cash restrictions. | lendmeafiver
26/2/2021 18:49 | Another RNS. Placing done and dusted at 5.75. | qazwsxedc69
26/2/2021 18:07 | Yes not a bad idea APF, it may lead to a better valuation perhaps. However I think they're trying to save costs in the short term, which probably isn't a bad thing also.I'm here for the next 5 years unless the story changes, so this placing is just a blip as far as I'm concerned. As long as we can keep the number of shares below 2bn when in operation (which I think is very feasible), we should be very very happy by 2025 IMHO.NAI | cyberbub
26/2/2021 18:03 | You were warned......now is the time to take a holding....🤪 funding in place. If the Directors buy in with their own cash then no worries with AIM if they don't in size stay well clear......they'll probably shaft you just like they've done. QsmeIly456 23 Feb '21 - 13:16 - 4671 of 4704 Edit 0 0 Funding at a discount unfortunately for you lot 🤣💦 | qsmeily456
26/2/2021 17:37 | Aim? How about a dual listing on asx or tsx instead? What the obsession with satisfying the aim cesspit. | apfindley
26/2/2021 17:23 | Agree Cyber, we knew a placing was likely, gives management the cash to deliver the meat of the project financing later in the year from a position of strength. | lendmeafiver
26/2/2021 17:15 | Hmmm.. I was right that a small placing was incoming, that explains the weakness the last week or two... disappointing they couldn't get the placing away over 6p, the management must be as frustrated as us PIs at how lowly Mr Market is rating the company compared to its peers. If we were listed in Canada or Oz I think we'd be substantially higher - the City is run by spivs.Having said that, I don't see that this is a huge problem for LTHs. It's only about 100M shares, a modest 12% dilution once you take into account the options. It doesn't look like there are any warrants attached either which is good.Ultimately this new 'smallish' money will greatly strengthen our management's hand in their negotiations for the 'big money' in the coming months. It's quite clear to me that (barring some unforeseeable disaster) the project is going to go ahead.I understood Graham's statement in the last presentation about raising money at a premium, to be referring to the 'big money', not this small placing.I also see no problem in moving to AIM. While there's a lot of dross on AIM there are plenty of decent (quality and market cap) companies too, and it will reduce our costs. Once in operation we can move back up to the main market. TBH I was always a little surprised that we were main market listed at this stage. While there will probably be a bit of an overhang from this placing, Mr Market may also see it as being a positive as removing the doubt about cash levels, and strengthening our hand for the big money. Plenty of companies recently have raised money and their share price has immediately rocketed. In summary IMO, a bit disappointing on the price, but I see this placing as being just part of the long-term success of the project for LTHs.GLA NAI | cyberbub
26/2/2021 16:50 | Not particularly impressed either ... hope they are not going to become one of the spivvy type AIM resource stocks with low ball placings. No need for that and to be honest this one has lost quite a bit of credibility. Love the project, potential value and what has been achieved. Don't love the low priced placing given what they have and promises made to protect investors.. hey ho was ever thus. If didnt have bundles already would participate but do so wont. | meganxmas
26/2/2021 16:49 | What does this mean in the short term ? | kcaco
26/2/2021 16:47 | Didn't they say in the investor meet company presentation that they were expecting to raise at a premium? Not impressed | donald pond
26/2/2021 16:44 | Well there's some clarity on funding and moving to AIM, think there will be some weakness next week.Always had this as a long term hold. | indyanna
26/2/2021 16:43 | accelerated book build now in motion for £5.25-£5.75mln raise between 5.5 and 6.0p | sportbilly1976
26/2/2021 16:16 | Hopefully.... It looks like there will be weakness though until there is more clarity on funding...GLA | cyberbub
