29/10/2017 17:00 | Now that Daley and Wilson have put in an incentive plan where they make 1m qd at 15p (still lower than 17p in 2003) and 5m qd at 25p (big deal!!) they are marketing this company properly to instituitionsWe now have 2 v big buyersWhen our shares were 5p and they had options at 25p they didn't bother but they managed to get a 15p hurdle in place and gave themselves free options and options to buy at 5p even though no sellers there except the Jsop which took a massive lossWilson and daley gain shareholders lose out Where have we heard THAT before!! | tilly99
29/10/2017 15:02 | May take 29!! Lol | tilly99
29/10/2017 14:27 | Good for you. I'm glad you are happy and i hope you get your 30p. | blackss
29/10/2017 13:26 | BlackSS - 29 Oct 2017 - 11:21 - 687 of 687 - 0What's there not to like?.I think 10p would be nearer the mark if i am generous1/The share price is artificially inflated with one buyer.2/Major holders like Perloff and Kinder have lost faith3/Checkit is an enormous failure that is taking down the rest of the company.4/Bottom line is this is surviving by selling fast depleting assets. Divisions they planned to keep only last year like Sheens are now getting the chop.5/ The chairman and CEO continue to milk this for all they can, again a tactic only possible by selling off assets.End of the day it's all unsustainableHAGWCop | tilly99
28/10/2017 19:03 | Tilly. Seems Andrew Perloff not doing at all well with his private purchase of Beales Stores. Beales lost near £600k up to 1st April 17 and deficit on balance sheet of over £10 million. Did he need the money? I am limited what I want to say with regards to litigation albeit Mr A Perloff is not out of the woods on a number of fronts. He supported the BOD knowing there was wrongdoing going on. | simon templar qc
26/10/2017 13:54 | Did Wilson buy 200k worth of ekt? | tilly99
20/10/2017 19:18 | Tilly, Notwithstanding any criminal and or fraudulent conduct it would be unfairly prejudicial for the management to gain a benefit from cash in the bank when shareholders haven't been given a dividend. But what I will say its likely that there will be a criminal prosecution before any other matters take hold. That is based upon the principle of law where there is evidence of criminal conduct those factors must always come first. | simon templar qc
20/10/2017 19:09 | Also another warning I am capable of issuing an injunction without notice to put a stop instantly to anything should I feel the BOD are set to get away with their scheming. At the moment Daley has shares in Elektron and I can give my assurance he will not benefit through his criminal conduct he will not benefit through his holdings. | simon templar qc
20/10/2017 19:00 | Tilly, Well worked out and more engineering to give the BOD more money, thanks for that. However the JSOP was unlawful and so that makes the LTIP unlawful as they have compensated themselves by implementing an unlawful scheme in the first place. Unfortunately I cannot update shareholders on any litigation, all I can say is it wont be long now before the directors are brought to book. | simon templar qc
20/10/2017 18:03 | Just reread the LTIPThe management here get paid solely(with a share price addition) on how much cash they can get in the bankSo disposals aren't based on what's good for shareholders but purely on the LTIP so any cash means they get paid out So I think we will see all our company sold off until it's left with Checkit and then it's a free punt for mgmnt Let's say we have 50m in the bank after selling everything including Bulgin..the mgmnt will be left with huge bonuses via the LTIP and then Checkit will be a bonus if it is a success..that's what I believe will happen within 3 years ..it's a no brainer for mgmnt You may ask how that benefits Daley..well him and Wilson are joined at the hip and may even own a private company together so I'm sure daley will also benefit from a sell off of assets | tilly99
20/10/2017 13:02 | Next question: So if Daley and Wilson's pay is part contribution to "Human resources" presumably their pay should have been on a downward trajectory? So why has pay increased on average and not decreased over the year and why has John's Wilson's pay risen while disposals have continued and contribution to brand "Human resources" is decreasing? | simon templar qc
20/10/2017 12:48 | This company has created further problems for itself in relation to a new accounting methodology! If you went back a few years and not that many years at that, you never heard the words "Brand Contribution is an internal measure of profitability before the allocation of certain Group pooled costs such as finance, information technology and human resources". So why, when and what purpose has Elektron suddenly started to come up with this methodology? This is not only creative accounting at its very worst in a number of ways which I cannot go into at present. But what it does actually mean is all previous accounting methodology is now suspect due to this recent wording of disposals. | simon templar qc
20/10/2017 10:58 | Question what are the other brands actually contributing .... Taking account of the following! " Brand Contribution is an internal measure of profitability before the allocation of certain Group pooled costs such as finance, information technology and human resources.? How much has the move to Cambridge actually cost the company? What has the amount of redundancies and wasted costs in money expended on each brand actually cost the company. | simon templar qc
20/10/2017 10:49 | In previous reports and in particular in the last annual report and interim report the company stated Sheen was a growth area, this is what they said: "We have a multi skilled team of engineers, software and product line specialists based in Cambridge focused on the opportunities created by global trends in the following areas:" - Demand for ubiquitous power and data: Bulgin - New waves of "aware" business applications: Checkit - The effect of ageing on sight: Elektron Eye Technology - Quality testing and inspection instruments: Sheen - Growth in high precision manufacture: Queensgate So why the backtrack? Also why is it when the company does a disposal they look at the cost of human resources and other factors presumably central head office costs! Were all these central costs taken into account when the company stated what each operation was contributing when they disclosed their results? Its all a dodgy way of hiding what has actually been going on at Elektron and all will come to light in due course. The company is just weaving a very complex web which is capable of being unwoven at some stage to reveal the extent of the wrongdoing. | simon templar qc
20/10/2017 10:31 | He shouldn't its fraud and at some stage he and a number of other people will have to answer for what they have done. A number of barristers and solicitors will also have to answer for the way they have acted the last few years. The legal process continues on a number of fronts. | simon templar qc
20/10/2017 09:31 | Having invested at 17p over 15 years ago..with all other peers going up at least 5 fold Why should Daley have been rewarded with free options and bonuses when we are back to square one after his 15 year tenure as chair? Why should shrehokdsra have suffered while he has made millions buying Jsop shares at 0p and 5p?? | tilly99
20/10/2017 09:18 | Appalling state of affairs yet more evidence of reckless actions by Daley and of course Wilson as they support one another. What I cannot do is update on legal action apart from saying both the police and FSA are still involved and I am determined to seek all wrongdoers face a criminal prosecution. | simon templar qc
20/10/2017 08:51 | Daley certainly knows how to "fix "these companies by starving them of investment He awarded himself free options at 0p and bought Stk at 5p when there were no sellers by buying off the Jsop!!So at 17p he is a v rich man..but only by screwing us shareholders He should've bought Stk off sellers not the Jsop which was long at 25p!!Reward for failure | tilly99
20/10/2017 08:12 | Bye bye Sheens, , Another broken company well and truly fixed the Daley way. Alan Routs will be turning in his grave... | blackss
16/10/2017 15:38 | Cant blame either of them, their credibility being involved with this was at rock bottom i would think. | blackss
16/10/2017 13:06 | This is interesting Tilly. In actual fact Perloff selling has helped my case. | simon templar qc
16/10/2017 12:38 | Wow kinder and perloff thrown towel in!!Unless kinder has transferred stock as only 3m printed | tilly99
11/10/2017 16:54 | It maybe peak earnings not if Bulgin makes 7m Pte tax this share is still too cheap25p target | tilly99 |
