Sterling is too short, doesn’t think properly and loses the ball far too often but Kane was selfish not crossing for Sterling to tap in for 2-0 all downhill after that, generally couldn’t hold possession, gave the ball away too many times, obviously if you keep gifting the opponents, they will score.

Good performance overall with many sub-standard players - Henderson, Deli, Lingard and Walker are not good enough. Get rid of those and there is some hope for the future. Referee / officials had a disaster tonight - should never again be allowed to a WC!

Mediocre team won, but that team were running as fast at the end of xtra time as they were at the start of the match.

Pumped up average players like Lingard and Rashford are not Internationals.
