06/8/2020 14:20 | After yesterday's conundrum, prices back to normality today - 77.36/79.45p (for 5k). | ansc
05/8/2020 18:26 | My two dummy trades today confirmed another day of 'back-to-front' prices for some reason - 77.65/77.60p. Using that basis to clarify, there were just 1,722 shares sold but 58,088 shares bought ..... and the price didn't flinch?! | ansc
03/8/2020 18:11 | That 50k 'buy' (@ 80p) reported L(ate), what a surprise! | ansc
21/7/2020 19:47 | Steady upward trend here....nice to see. | lyndon b
21/7/2020 09:56 | Decapitalisation? Where do you get that from? As regards the name change, I posted this elsewhere on 5th June following the AGM: 'This initially seemed rather strange to me seeing as the company name was changed from Eleco just five years previously. As always when in doubt I contacted the company and, after their detailed explanation, all became clear. A simple analogy is that of a family tree. Eleco plc becomes the 'parent' company (containing all the corporate fundamental data) below which is listed their 'children' (subsidiaries). Any prospective customer will now be able to check the financial soundness of the company (at Eleco plc) before being able to go straight to the subsidiary they are interested in (be it Powerproject, Shire Systems, ICON etc). That should make life simpler as the company continues to grow (hopefully) in the future.' | ansc
21/7/2020 08:16 | Seems an odd name change. Does decapitalisation of PLC make a big difference? | bellymonster
21/7/2020 07:33 | It's taken nearly six weeks but, as from today, the company name is now registered as Eleco plc: | ansc
20/7/2020 10:10 | With the company name having reverted back to Eleco plc (resolution passed at the recent AGM), this thread is no longer in use and the previous one (under that name) is now back in action. | ansc

18/7/2020 19:29 | A very inactive thread!!! | johnsoho
16/7/2020 18:40 | The Market Manipulators still being as devious as ever, the 60k 'buy' trade executed at 09.29 but not announced 'til just before the market closed ..... so nothing new there then. Another string to Elecosoft's bow: | ansc
16/7/2020 10:39 | ELCO critics have gone quiet, I've been waiting for some of their usual damning comments about Tuesday's trading update. Perhaps there's another 100 pages on the way! | ansc
14/7/2020 07:48 | Looks an encouraging update : H1'20 revs down 4% with Covid a factor, but net funds up to £4.4m and adj PBT rose 14%. Outlook looks to be improving and shares trade on just 2.4x 2019 EV/sales, vs typical industry multiples (pre Covid) of 4x - 7x. 13/7/2020 10:16 | Thanks, rathkum, as you say an interesting read. edit: Still no sign of the name change having been registered at companies house. | ansc
13/7/2020 09:40 | Interesting read on @elecosoftpp , a web-based construction project management platform from @Elecosoft . This software provides construction teams a tool to view and report live on many projects at once! | rathkum
07/7/2020 18:39 | All the trades today @ 80.499p that ADVFN recorded as sells were in fact buys (see my previous post). | ansc
07/7/2020 10:17 | Much the same for online quote this morning - 80.499/80.75p (2.5k). Why, are the Market Manipulators short or do they want to accumulate stock for some reason? | ansc
06/7/2020 18:54 | Bearing in mind what I discovered from my dummy broker's quote this morning, apart from the two obvious sell trades, it's impossible to tell which of the other trades were buys and which were sells. As I said, confusing and what was the reason for this 'sleight of hand'. A trading update was issued on 7th August last year so not long to wait before we'll find out if those allegations in THAT report bear any resemblance to the actual facts ..... I'm beginning to worry already (not!). | ansc
06/7/2020 10:22 | free money ! | felix99
06/7/2020 10:18 | A bit of an anomaly in my broker's quote this morning, 'buy' at 80.7p but sell at 80.75p ..... worryingly confusing? | ansc
02/7/2020 17:49 | Quite a contrast today compared to last Thursday's maelstrom and you have to ask yourself what's changed this week? With no news coming from the company, the one obvious difference is the lack of caring (lol) non-investors warning actual investors of impending doom following the release of THAT report. It simply emphasises the importance of doing one's own research and not to rely on that of so-called experts. | ansc
01/7/2020 18:22 | ELCO's half-year ended yesterday with their Interim results announcement customarily released in September. In the light of the malicious allegations published last Thursday, I would imagine management will do their utmost to issue figures earlier than that this time round. | ansc
29/6/2020 10:33 | Again, for those shareholders sitting on the edge of their seats following last week's publication of that pretentious report, a reminder of the salient points made by the chairman in his AGM statement (4th June): [i. Revenues decreased in the period by 3 per cent (2 per cent at constant currency) compared to the same period in 2019, ii. Recurring maintenance, support and subscription revenues for the period were 6 per cent higher than the previous year equivalent; and that, iii. Profit before Tax increased in the period by 25 per cent. iv. Elecosoft was also cash generative in the period and it had a net cash position of GBP3.1m at 30 April 2020 compared with its net cash position of GBP1.1m at 31 December 2019.] Once the panic button is pressed, logical thinking tends to fly out of the window. | ansc
27/6/2020 10:08 | For those shareholders whom may have been understandably rattled over the last 48 hours, might I respectively suggest you do a 'Google search' on the author of this report and see whether it calms your anxiety level somewhat ..... I know it did mine! | ansc
26/6/2020 10:55 | Thanks ansc. I sent all references and quotes from the other elco site to the company asking for some comment. I have received nothing. However if you spoke to them then I take your word. Similar behaviour with DGOC and Shareprophets. | petewy |
