05/2/2021 12:37 | Good piece Cheers rathkum. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
02/2/2021 19:02 | ansc - yes I had been wondering similarly, if the continual replanning of projects actually increases the number of licences needed. Might do for some. cheers | illiswilgig
02/2/2021 10:55 | With no end in sight of the coronavirus pandemic, a big plus point for the company is that all their staff can work from the safe environment of their own home (and have been doing since the onset). Could this be how ELCO might possibly operate in the long term in some areas thus saving the cost of expensive town/city offices? It could be argued that the disruption being caused by enforced lockdowns (both here and abroad) is possibly playing havoc with environmental construction contract timetables thus causing Eleco customers needing to use the company's software even more to maintain the momentum in their respective businesses... just a thought. | ansc
27/1/2021 17:15 | Twice as many shares bought today compared to those sold yet the share price ends 1p lower ... the mysteries of market making! | ansc
25/1/2021 17:54 | During my time as an ELCO shareholder (22 years), the share price peaked (very briefly) at 112p in 2007. Of course, ELCO was a very different beast in those days to what it is now being more involved as a supplier to the construction industry. At the time, I queried why it was even 'dabbling' with software ..... how wrong could I have been! | ansc
25/1/2021 13:36 | Re-rating in progress.Was long overdue. | rathkum
25/1/2021 11:23 | Looks good for a test of all time highs | doobz
25/1/2021 09:30 | Usually good things happen when shares pass the important 100p mark. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
22/1/2021 17:20 | Closed at a 13 year high tonight; it's been a good week for shareholders in more ways than one. | ansc
22/1/2021 13:15 | Eleco mentioned in today's Vox 'stock picking' videocast (33mins 0secs) www.linkedin.com/pos | brummy_git
22/1/2021 11:20 | Re-read Tuesday's pleasing trading update last night and two comments of the company 'chair' must have given shareholders reassurance in this difficult economic climate. Firstly, cash held at the year end had grown to £6.1m; there must be 100s of smallish companies in this country who would love to have just half of that sum in their bank account. Secondly, this sentence: [We continue to provide support to our customers which will enable them to keep working through these challenging circumstances. I have been encouraged by both the number of new customers won as well as the increase in uptake among existing customers and thank the teams for their hard work and commitment.] Roll on the March 'Final' announcement giving the full picture. | ansc
21/1/2021 15:37 | Indeed, a push through the 100p level would be hugely significant........ | chrisdgb
21/1/2021 14:23 | Breaking out of that 3 year trading range, looking good here | doobz
21/1/2021 10:45 | 125p is not unreasonable. Elco have proven their business nouce after going 100% SaaS. The software is gaining traction left and right. It's the sort of business that can double bottom line profit over two years. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
21/1/2021 10:33 | Further to my previous post, I hadn't taken into consideration the company broker's (finnCap) encouraging update (released after the trading update announcement) wherein they gave a near term target price of 125p. | ansc
21/1/2021 10:01 | Sp being raised but this morning on minuscule volume, has ELCO been tipped somewhere or is it a case of 'buyer beware'? | ansc
20/1/2021 13:24 | ooo a pound doth beckon | thelongandtheshortandthetall
20/1/2021 13:23 | Thanks for the Equity Development link, so looking at the peer group/takeover valuations, we could be at least double to triple this price.............? | chrisdgb
20/1/2021 13:19 | On the 20 July I posted that the company name had reverted back to Eleco so this thread (using the name of Elecosoft) was no longer appropriate; why are you persisting in using it? | ansc
20/1/2021 11:55 | Still truckin' with it. | petewy
19/1/2021 13:19 | In spite of the ravages wrought by Covid-19, an outstanding achievement produced by Team Eleco. | ansc
19/1/2021 09:21 | Thanks for the youtube vid. Get the sense prospects are a foot and profits are dropping consistently to the bottom line. Very interesting to note the peer valuations. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
19/1/2021 08:02 | Yes , looks a solid report and stronger H2 with turnover climbing +6% so adj PBT rose 10% (at least). Equity Development see more progress and value it at a conservative 115p/share. Interview with CEO Jonathan Hunter on the update available here: And new research note here: | edmonda
19/1/2021 07:56 | Pleased with that trading statement. Clearly refining the business as time goes along. They are the defacto build scheduling software provider. I expect things to continue to improve from here esp as they have made more profit in a pandemic year. Plenty of cash now too😎 | thelongandtheshortandthetall |
