Problem with delisted companies is that often financial details are vague. Just look at how Zaf put IBS on the books at huge cost. Haven't seen the authorities chasing him over that!I have a few svca which were delisted. Only once a year do I get any details of their business. Over the years their shareholders have been mugged and diluted almost to extinction. Will 8 peaks still exist in 12 months?

Think I have found what you mean. A delisted company has to comply with the City Code for 10 years post delisting.

Interesting note re the 8PG webpage: now stating the latest valuations of each investee company as being £ xxx.

This is why, in my view, the latest set of accounts are key so that we can see whether the valuations are kept the same as previous years. Hopefully, we have not previously been misled by management with dilution of asset values written into the latest accounts? Also, we need to see what has happened with the IBS Corporation project?

Although the company is now private, there will still be scrutiny? The directors have to act in the best interest of shareholders.

Just checked companies house. Zaf resigned from AMED 20th May this year.

My understanding is that any company that de-lists from AIM has to continue the same high levels of reporting requirements etc, etc....for a minimum of 10 years.

I will do a credit check on AMED, that way they will alert me to any future company house filings. Not expensive, but I pay for credit checks to be done. I will also keep this board updated on any developments.

From memory, although private companies can do away with having AGM's, I think 8PG stated they would have at least one more. If I am available I would intend to go. Personally, I have a good bit of cash tied up here, and will be looking for management to make good on their promise that delisting was in the best interest of shareholders.
