The 5p punter, I would say, was being overly optimistic.

"Eight Peaks Group PLC ("8PG") is pleased to announce that it has invested £300,000 into Virtualstock Convertible Loan Notes.

The CLN accrue interest at 10% pa and are repayable at the option of VS after a minimum of 6 months and up to a maximum of 18 months.

Should the CLN not be repaid in 18 months, they convert into VS shares at £2.50 per share.

In addition, 8PG has been issued warrants over 12,000 VS shares which are exercisable at a fiver per VS share within 5 years."

So True !
A few years ago VirtualStock shares were being snapped up for a tenner each (there was even "unicorn" talk) !
Only last year Karim gave them some money but it was difficult to determine the price (I wonder why !).

The price for the recent Rights Issue was £2.5 (908,679 of them).
So who bought them ?

VS now have 7,575,853 shares and so they are valued at under £20 million.

Even so the 8PG investment is still valued at over £1 million.
