Posted at 31/3/2021 17:39 by chinese investor Mrs Karen Pickles has 126 Eight Peaks shares....they're worth about 3p each !When LEG became 8PG (a 1 for 388 consolidation) the price of 8PG was 33p ! LEG were around 0.1p at the time - remember the one pence party invitations ! "Karen" had bought them for 0.4p so... ...her £200 investment is currently worth £4 (ignoring dealing costs) ! |

Posted at 07/7/2020 11:37 by kemche For quite a number of months now, I have personally done very well in the market. My strategy has been as follows:(1) Only pick a share with a market cap in excess of £ 500M, (2) Must have price earnings below 20 and must pay a dividend, (3) Must have been recent good news reason why the share, in my view, is fairly cheap, and (4) Must not be on the short tracker. In my view, sticking to the same old share in an emotional manner and not looking out to the massive amount that is going on elsewhere in the world is a mistake. Sage advice! |
Posted at 21/5/2020 09:05 by belt n braces cpap manNot really following 8PG closely these days. However, if VS was valued in total at £ 4.25 per share price, this would bode well for 8PG. Whether any gains would flow back to shareholders is another matter. On that note the closing Asset Match auction for this quarter ends next Wednesday. There are a few shares down for sale but so far no buyer. If 8Peaks are really worth a lot higher than the price noted on Asset match, you would think that Zaf or Monsoon would hoover up these shares? |

I see someone has left a query on LinkedIn about 8pg and I have followed this up with a further request for Zaf to explain.I remember there being a small investment in a cyber security company with 8pg - not sure if this is same and just rebranded ? |
