             EICOM plc ("Eicom" or "the Company"; stock code: EIC)

                            Issue of Ordinary Shares

Further to an announcement on 3 November 2006 relating to the signing of a
series of put and call options to raise a maximum of #2.7million net of
discount, Eicom, the digital TV channel management company, announces that it
has exercised the first two options and has placed 13,086,912 Ordinary Shares of
0.5p each at an average price of 7.64p per share to raise #1 million gross of
placing fees, #950,000 net of placing fees.

Application has been made today for these shares to be admitted to AIM, and
trading is expected to commence on 29 March 2007.

This brings the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights to 17,980,396
which may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
