07/6/2022 11:13 | The Environment Agency has done a lot of work on the risks of fracking and doesn't actually ban it. It just sets strict controls if it is to be carried out. It is only the Government who decided to ban it. I can't see the British Geological Survey coming to a different conclusion to the Environment Agency. The ball will be in the Government's court but with Boris Johnson on the ropes he will go for whatever is the populist approach. Something needs to be done about impossibly high gas bills but of course he has his daft greenie net zero agenda which is not delivering any goods. | kibes
01/6/2022 09:05 | Be fascinating to see what happens with regards to the, Gov commissioned, report from the British Geological Survey on fracking, about risks. This is due this month I think. Remember it was the Gov, who knocked Fracking on the head a few years ago, based on information from "..British Oil and Gas board???"....or whatever they were called. And also pressure from Eco loons. And it is the Gov who can decide to put back on track again - regardless of what the British Geological Survey advise. And all the vibes are that the Gov want it back on track, due to all the world events we know about. It would also create thousands of UK jobs, just as the UK and world seem to be heading towards a possible recession. So next few weeks, as Mr A alluded to, in the Directors Talk interview above (Link from Currypasty), could be fascinating for our share price Time will tell. | gerhart

26/5/2022 09:49 | A small, well-managed, debt-free company in the oil and gas business in the current climate, with good future low-risk prospects - and the small and (I think) growing possibility of fracking getting the nod again in the UK. What's not to like? Just wish I had bought in sooner when I was mulling in late Dec! :( | gerhart
26/5/2022 07:54 | This is looking exceptionally good for the future | guesswhosback2
26/5/2022 07:40 | "I am pleased to report that continuing strong production from Wressle and Ceres coupled with high oil and gas prices have translated into a robust year to date financial performance for Egdon. The material cash flow generated has been transformational, enabling the Company to become debt free and funded for all near-term commitments in parallel with considering further growth opportunities." | currypasty
