no idea, sorry.. sounds like a good idea,
Its likely that we just put in an appeal, which in this climate has to be passed, then claim costs back off council

CurryPasty - do you know if they put a duplicate application? I used to do that and when one was refused it left the other on the table for further negotiation.

Curry I think we will get the Biscathorpe appeal announcement before then. I hope we're at around 6p+ by the 27th after the interims.

Yes. That was my post, Curry:"As advised our interims are due out on 26 April and will provide a full update on all the matters you raised in your email below and more. We will be providing updates via RNS on a number of matters ahead of then.  However, anything price sensitive would not be released via our Twitter account as this is not compliant with AIM rules."

Very little stock available on free float. Which is why this moves so fast. Brokers struggle to fill orders.

Egdon holds a significant portfolio of shale gas licences covering an area of 151,742 net acres (614 square kilometres) with estimated mean volumes of undiscovered gas in place of 37.6 trillion cubic feet. Egdon's primary focus is the Gainsborough Trough where the results from the 2019 Springs Road-1 well highlighted a potentially world class resource in the Gainsborough Shale.

Commenting, Mark Abbott, Managing Director of Egdon Resources plc, said:

"This review is a logical and welcome move by the government. Gas heats over 80% of our homes and generates around 40% of our electricity and will continue to be an important part of our energy mix out to 2050 and beyond. UK shale gas could be a strategically important national resource with the potential to reduce the UK's growing reliance on gas imports, whilst reducing gas prices, improving our balance of payments, increasing tax revenues and creating skilled jobs whilst importantly also reducing the carbon footprint of the gas we all use."

The government has today (Tuesday 5 April 2022) commissioned the British Geological Survey to advise on the latest scientific evidence around shale gas extraction.

Ministers have always been clear that the exploration of shale gas reserves in England could only proceed if the science shows that it is safe, sustainable and of minimal disturbance to those living and working nearby.
