04/7/2022 09:17 | 50 million shares issued at 1.25p, and shareprice doesn't flinch | currypasty
04/7/2022 07:21 | Egdon Resources plc (AIM:EDR), a UK focused energy company , announces that an application has been made to the London Stock Exchange plc for a block listing of securities in respect of 49,299,000 ordinary shares of GBP0.01 each (the 'New Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to trading on AIM. The New Ordinary Shares will be issued from time to time in order to satisfy the remaining outstanding warrants which may be exercised. It is expected that admission will become effective on 8 July. The block listing consists of 49,299,000 ordinary shares in respect of the remaining outstanding warrants granted in July 2021 as part of the Company's GBP1.44 million fundraise through the issue of 115,228,000 new ordinary shares at a price of 1.25 pence per share. As part of this raise, each two subscription shares were granted a right to subscribe for one new ordinary share at a price of 2.5 pence per share (the "warrants"). The warrants are exercisable at any time until 23 July 2023. | currypasty
01/7/2022 16:22 | Nash, Curry helpfully posted this previously. Should remove any doubts about potential...near end. But the interview just illustrates what a good company EDR is even without fracking. CURRY, I had read that and wonder is it tidying up/positioning so if fracking gets a green light, they bid for remaining shares and have more profit for themselves. Could take management team with them of course. Wonder is today's nice rise in response to people's take on that? Someone posted this link from mail today. Reading this it seems British Geological Survey report has gone to US for peer review? | gerhart
21/6/2022 21:47 | but is it not EOG also has fracking asset? | nash81
21/6/2022 13:43 | Only the buyers can tell, Curry. But I'd guess fracking. Report to Gov due before end of June. But as you know, this is a well managed company with no debt, funded for future plans, which there are plenty. And due to current oil price is banking a lot of cash. So a solid prospect even without fracking and very different from lots of other similar sized companies. | gerhart
21/6/2022 13:14 | any ideas whats pushing edr, compared to other wressle partners? fracking ?? free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | currypasty
09/6/2022 11:26 | Bionic dog - thanks for your update - I've not followed UKOG at all so didn't know the background - just saw the news this morning. In the current climate I can't see Biscathorpe failing. | mountain man
09/6/2022 11:01 | Not at all , Dunsfold was nailed on. The inspector recommended that the the project be allowed , but the council rejected it for no valid reasons (just like Wressle). They were always going to win the appeal. IMO the council should have focussed on UKOG's record of being a fit and proper company if they wanted to reject it. The councillors always answer the question "do you want this development to take place?" , not the question that they are actually being asked. | bionicdog
09/6/2022 10:45 | bionic dog - hmm.....is the Surrey decision a sign of acquired intelligence and common sense? A small step in the right direction at least! Time will tell. | mountain man
09/6/2022 10:13 | I know ffs. I was pretending that I thought "the dog" was referring to me. Never mind. | bionicdog
09/6/2022 07:58 | Mountain, agree with earlier comments. The Missus and Miss-Guided have had too much influence. | gerhart
08/6/2022 21:19 | Bionic dog - the sad thing is that I wasn't joking! When Boris famously said f business, he wasn't joking either. Can we please have a business brain running the country and not career politicians that think they know what's best for us. | mountain man
08/6/2022 19:32 | Bionic dogI'm not blaming you - just saying how I see it - squarely with PM and those around/above him - we didn't vote for them but we're all dancing to their tune.We should have been fracking years ago. It's not economics it's politics that's in the way.Boris didn't get the big calls right - he subcontracted the hard work of coronavirus to a great woman to sort out - thank god!Ukraine he has got right. Can't think of anything else.Wish I could be more positive and perhaps with Lord Frost as PM we could be. | mountain man
08/6/2022 17:27 | Don't blame me! | bionicdog
08/6/2022 17:14 | Gerhart - any PM with common sense would get on with what is golden opportunity to earn serious money for this country. However, common sense is in short supply in Number 10 and in any event Carrie, the dog and Zac say no - and there in lies the problem. We should have been fracking years ago. | mountain man
08/6/2022 16:38 | Time will tell, Bionic. Tick-tock, tick-tock.... :) | gerhart
08/6/2022 16:30 | There are many more in the party whose constituents are opposed. I'd be amazed if they reintroduced it in the current climate. | bionicdog
08/6/2022 16:24 | We only know that the The Bizz Sec. Kwasi K told the British Geological Survey that he would like their report by end of June. Could be any of the next 22! I'll be astonished if Gov says no to it, given: whole saga on back of war in Ukraine Re energy supplies. Many Tory MPs have called for it to go ahead; many in media say it should go ahead....and Boris J needs every weapon he can now to power up the Gov. Apart from that, world possibly heading for recession, and fracking would create 1000s of jobs. Given America has changed the economics of the oil industry with its shale oil, hard to see a case been made against it in current circumstances. | gerhart
08/6/2022 15:23 | do we know when the fracking issue will be decided? | currypasty
08/6/2022 13:45 | Yeah, could be a bit of a drag, Curry. Though not all will be exercised. (And most warrants are held by key long-term holders anyway) But that is partly why we are debt-free! Not sure if there is a timeline on selling them. But if fracking gets the go ahead, and I think it will, "drag" won’t be the problem. Coping with a little G-force might be the issue! :) But even if fracking doesn’t get the go ahead, we are now a debt-free company basically just printing money because of oil/gas prices. And we still have lots of positives ahead. Not many companies in our position. | gerhart
08/6/2022 07:10 | "Following the exercise of the Warrants reported above 49,499,000 Warrants remain outstanding and are exercisable at any time until 23 July 2023." could be a bit of a drag | currypasty |
