07/3/2022 11:59 | Oil at $125 a barrel... would be great to put out an update this week | currypasty
07/3/2022 10:54 | Maybe it would be good business for Deltic, but perhaps not so good for Egdon? | greypanther2
07/3/2022 07:41 | Further on resolution and endeavour discovery. As they are proven discoveries and Pensacola is not (Could be dry) It may be good business for Deltic to do a 10% swap with Egdon prior to the Pensacola drill. We get 10% of Pensacola drill and they get 10% of Resolution and Endeavour. Risk management. If they miss at Pensacola they have nothing to show for it while 10% of such a drill would double Egdon market cap while drilling. imho dyor | bomfin
07/3/2022 07:05 | Oil at 130 dollars a barrel up 10% over night could see 300 dpb | shujja1

05/3/2022 22:47 | I think on environmental considerations they will have to do a subsea tie in and connect to a pipeline meeting land at one of the onshore gas plants or perhaps pipeline to Breagh where there should be ullage by now. | bomfin
05/3/2022 17:52 | There may also have been an issue with how Resolution / Endeavour could best be developed. Both discoveries are in very shallow water next to the coast, so presumably it's expected to be a lot more difficult than usual - from an environmental perspective - to get development consent. And that's if the appraisal programme goes well, of course. From speaking to someone at Egdon some time ago, the development concept was then a long reach, sub-horizontal well drilled from onshore into the most prolific part of the offshore structure. It would be good to see this moving ahead now that the UK is keen to find new gas supplies which aren't Russian. | greypanther2
05/3/2022 13:58 | So, Looking back. They farmed into Deltic first so drilling Pensacola first may reflect that. | bomfin
05/3/2022 12:35 | Yes GreyPanther2. In my opinion they consider Resolution and Endeavour as in the bag as they are both discoveries that flowed gas. They will drill to see if they can find more gas at Pensacola this summer. If so they can do a bigger scale development with costs of development/boe reduced. If it misses they will get a move on with Resolution It`s quite a clear strategy as they farmed in with Deltic under the same terms they did with Egdon. imho dyor. | bomfin
05/3/2022 10:39 | Hi Bomfin. I assume you're thinking about Egdon's near-shore Resolution gas discovery. If so, there's little or nothing in our current share price for it. I think we already know that Shell isn't thinking about a possible development at Resolution, or not very much yet, because they seem to have delayed the relevant 3D seismic survey several times. That survey should, presumably, have led to an appraisal well being drilled at some future date. But not for quite a while, I guess. Maybe I've misunderstood, and you are thinking about another asset? | greypanther2
05/3/2022 08:47 | What price Egdon undeveloped gas reserves?. Shell must surely be assessing a development. | bomfin
