02/7/2008 11:13 | Take a look at Melorio ( MLO ) .The price has been similarly hammered and recovered only 1.5p yesterday on a positive management statement.EDD is recommended as buy in todays Penny Share Prophet ( Hargreaves Landswown ) at 37.25p !!!! EDD management were very positive in their last statement so I hope it is just the poor market sentiment at present that is causing the drop. | mpearson
02/7/2008 10:48 | totally pi@!ed off and v. disappointed wuth the way this has been marked down ! There appears to be no big reason why this is tanking other than the mms taken us all for a ride. unless, of course there's bad news in the background that we don't know about but the mms do! I've always been here for the long term so will contiue to hold ! but this really taking the pee ! | ![]() rcktmn
26/6/2008 12:10 | I had a bad feeling when CR started posting about this... Waiting for a rebound now ;) | nicedude1976
24/6/2008 12:06 | Funny anough 45p was what I topped up at !....still, In the long run I think this'll be ok..however, share price has taken a knock due to expectations that the gov. will cut back education spending that might impact EDD, we'll see | ![]() rcktmn

24/6/2008 11:47 | Dont blame you for taking your profit, but i think most of the damage is done now so im staying in. its a good company with good prospects and earnings and its so dam cheap so i think its about as low as it will go, the charts look ok too so long as it doesnt go much lower, i was in at 19 but it doesnt really matter when u were in as long as the long term trend is good, i would personally say this is a strong buy dyor as usual. and dont panic remember fortune favours the brave. i think the time to of been out was @ 45p all hindsight now as usual | ![]() mmickyboy
24/6/2008 11:16 | Have to admit to selling out yesterday. Sector worries / general economic worries. Id imagine this will be ok, but my profit was dwindling down from 60% to 40% so i took the plunge. Will keep a close eye on this. | ![]() stegrego
24/6/2008 09:48 | Good time to buy more...I believe it'll bottom out about this level and resume it's upward trend in about 4-6 months when the market begins to recover. (imho) | ![]() rcktmn

23/6/2008 19:02 | Some concersn in the market perhaps over this news item But if you want to see what panic looks like take a look at this share; | ![]() bookworm1
21/6/2008 12:13 | shuisky - I agree with you and invest on fundamentals. However looking at the charts over the last few years the price has rarely fallen below the long term moving average and when it has this has ususally presented a buying opportunity. The question has to be 'is this another rare buying opportunity?' or are we going to end up following some of the other small caps that have been driven down in price by about 20 - 30% just because the market has got the jitters. Maybe an appropriate share for 'down slicing'. Buy a bit if it goes down, then buy a bit more if it falls even further. Regards | ![]() bookworm1
20/6/2008 07:32 | bookworm1- I suspect this is more like a retail punter having to liquidate a position rather than an institution. This is an illiquid share, and as you can see on the posts above there may have been a flurry of flighty 'clever' investors on board recently who try and make a quick turn by talking up a stock daily. It doesnt worry me, no one should buy micro-caps without understanding these issues and the short term fluctuations that happen. I hold the stock on fundamentals, and 'growth will out itself'. | ![]() shuisky
19/6/2008 23:11 | This is my worst performer over last 2 days by some way Could do better 4/10! | ![]() stegrego
19/6/2008 21:35 | shuisky I agree a big drop today! RBS announced a global stock & credit crash alert and there are rumours that now they have got their money from their rights issue they trying to make some more by shorting the market. Although quite why anyone would want to sell a growing profitable cash generator debt free and recession proof share like EDI is totally beyond me. I agree with you and suspect that investment funds are liquidating their stocks again and it is the small caps that are the casulties. If it falls any lower I might not be able to resist topping up. | ![]() bookworm1
18/6/2008 13:40 | More sellers than buyers. I suspect we are seeing the usual completely random bout of forced selling as some punter gets margin called on his other positions in a declining market. In the short term, illiquid stocks like this can suffer these things. | ![]() shuisky
18/6/2008 13:04 | Disappointing movement today. Any thoughts or press coverage out there? | ![]() matt
12/6/2008 08:24 | any decent write up in shares mag? | ![]() manrobert
09/6/2008 13:52 | yeah lets hope so the chart looks pretty good to me as well. | ![]() manrobert
09/6/2008 13:16 | For what it's worth - we should see good write-ups in shares mag & IC this week plus various tip sheets over the coming weeks/months...and any brokers notes updates will help as well! Also, we might get a trading update in a couple of months sellers were / are recent short term buyers looking for a quick profit on the back of the sesults..I reckon the slow but sustainable rise in the share price will continue soon...(imho) | ![]() rcktmn
09/6/2008 12:07 | despite very good results lack of publicity seems to be attracting only sellers.any views.? | ![]() manrobert
06/6/2008 06:49 | I thought the results were in-line with recent forecasts and pretty good. Wanted to see what the trader types in here were doing after the results before doing anything but joined them and solf half my holding purely to reduce my exsposure in yhis crumby market. Will retain the other half and 'if' the market takes a wrench back I'll have them back. Suspect the only reason there were sellers yesterday was either traders or those than never expected earnings weighted to H2. CR | ![]() cockneyrebel
05/6/2008 08:00 | surprised their isnt more people looking in this morning, topped up on the dip | ![]() cambium
05/6/2008 07:24 | Yes, very good results. can't see anything in them that would've justified the recent drop in the share price .. I now expect that there may be a drift on the share price over the summer but will strengthen towards/at the full results in 6 months time (or a trading update or two along the way!) so will hold for the time being being... they should get some decent press as well! | ![]() rcktmn
05/6/2008 07:11 | super dooper | ![]() cambium
05/6/2008 07:10 | Yes the results are a relief and are very solid considering last weeks weak share price activity. So, I'll be holding onto my recent purchase. | ![]() hectorp |
