Plenty of profitable companies have been hammered this year due to risk off investing, hedge fund shorting, and Putin. I would pick one of these instead of Eden. Sorry can't suggest anything, not a financial advisor.

I've been watching, so probably a counter indicator, and no position. Still need individual states to greenlight the permissions in USA I believe. Then we need real momentum of sales. Preferably with clear news on insecticide. Then maybe buy after successful fund raising, assuming they get it away.
It could still be huge, but sailing close to the wind imo.

The company has less than six months cash left. The cash position at end of August, which has now been boasted about twice, is likely a one off due to a credit control push. Year end is three months away. I cannot see how the new auditor can possibly approve the next accounts, without a going concern qualification, unless the company has a capital raising. The directors confidence that this will be successful is optimistic.

Preliminary accounts 31/5Notes to the accounts (where else) section 1.3While the Group is forecast to become cash generative in 2024 under the base budget, The Directors consider it reasonably possible that the Group will require a further fundraise prior to that point but beyond the going concern period. The Directors have assessed the likelihood of obtaining such funding, particularly in the context of the successful raise in March 2020, and would expect to be able to raise such funds as necessary.

The company has stated that it needs to raise money in 2023. It is burning roughly a million a quarter.

Another red flag is the fact that BFG are selling shares. This means they are not privy to any discussion regarding a capital raising. As they are the largest shareholder by far this is exceedingly odd.

If this is so great, explain today's RNS. No wait - you're too thick - I'll do it for you.

Today's RNS sez, expressed in simpul ingrish for fvcking maroons like you lot:

BGF Investment Management Ltd (if you need chaper & worse, account BGF Investments LP at/with the nominal shareholder, Pershing Securities Ltd acting via Pershing Nominees Ltd, of Liverpool)....
.... used to hold about 57,000,000 shares in Eden Research plc, i.e. about 14.962% of the voting rights, but....
.... on or just before September 30, 2022 it flogged off about 3,750,000 share, reducing its holding to about 53,250,000 shares (13.977%).

I strongly suspect more are to come. Many more. Sensible BGF to take it on the chin. ;D

So, is the largest ""investor"" of all starting to dump ALL of its stock?

And if this is so great, why have there been only two directors' purchases in the past 21 months, and for miniscule numbers of shares?

Despite recent share prices being the lowest ever since the company was listed??
