Enough to hurt. That company appointed a new 'independent' director, who later stated that it was in the best interest of the company and its employees that the company went into pre pack administration, where the directors bought productive assets for pennies on the pound. How convenient that one minute directors have to act in the best interest of shareholders, yet moments later an 'independent' director enables them to act in the best interest of employees. Hmm.
