The stockmarket in general is an engine to make money and accomplish "big" things beyond the reach of almost any individuals.

But the miniscule AIM is a casino engine mainly to enrich unscrupulous conmen at the expense of greedy gullible suckers, as are to be found here. Yes, it is a graveyard of hopes and ambitions too. For every one AIM gamble that pays off, there are fifty that do not. This piece 'o poo is among the fifty, near the bottom of the dungheap.

It appears you have written off Eden. I sincerely hope that your other holdings more than make up for your losses here. AIM is an investor graveyard.

Neuts are you talking about terminal losses? You can only carry those back three years...I'm not Investing or anyone else you might think I am..... I look forward to the day when you accept you have made a mistake.

Rav, I don't know this game. I suppose I don't even think of myself as a Eden shareholder.....I see it as I have a very out of the money call option with no expiration date. As for cutting my losses whilst there is still some value (which you have mentioned before)... I have had bigger swings over the last week in my Fres/HOC/Poly positions than what I might lose if this share goes to zero.

> Are Eden shareholders any more sane than the people who played Za gaman in Japan?

Hahahahaha!! And two thumbs' ups!

I correctly guessed what you were referring to, though I didn't know its name, and looked it up and confirmed I was right.

"The program was a version of an activity at Japanese universities, the gaman taikai or endurance contest, where students try to outdo each other in withstanding unpleasant experiences. The TV program featured teams from universities, such as Keio University, who were subjected to various unpleasant ordeals, such as being buried up to the neck in sand or licked by reptiles. The person who endured the longest was declared the winner."

A perfect analogy - except for one thing.

In Za Gaman, the sufferers' torment lasted for but a few seconds, minutes or hours - partly because tortures were chosen to be able to be fitted into the confines of a TV broadcast slot, partly because no one is SO stupid to put up with it for longer.

Here, however, the period of brutal self-sodomy of EDEN """investors""" is measured not in seconds, minutes or hours, but instead in MULTIPLES OF YEARS (this fiasco of a company has been limping along for DECADES, never ever showing the faintest hint of a profit, and it is more than a decade since it went pubic).

So evidently its shareholders are CONSIDERABLY more deranged and masochistic than Za Gaman participants!

Baffles me why obvious ignoramuses on science think they are competent to make investment decisions on (allegedly) high-tech companies...

Very entertaining too. ;D

We have the near-illiterate conspiracy-nutcase "supersonico"... hahahaha!

Even more amusing is EDEN-lickspittle "Timbo_Slice", who has also posted/ramped on a SNRP discussion thread and (there) also mentioned XEL (two defunct scam companies), and "investingisatrickygame", who.... hold your breath .... has also posted/ramped on a SNRP discussion thread and mentioned XEL there too.

And then lied and lied that they are different posters.

Hahahahahaha! ;D But redress MUST be obtained, for the one thing I hate more than a filthy liar is a STUPID filthy liar.

When this fiasco unravels fully, and we compel the appropriate regulators to interest themselves, this criminal deception in the ramping of this boiler-room fodder may yield US some dividends. All in good time.

Oh, we should mention that "darrenchops" aka "spadeychops" aka the counterfeiter "neutraIpov" is helping the Suffolk Police with their enquiries....

;D

Checking out, for reasons obvious to some, the THERANOS fiasco -

What I find most shocking of all is the braindead nature of 99% of the shareholders who, AFTER the first proof of and censure for accounting and other irregularities or rule breaches, still continued to back the company!
"On May 16, 2017, approximately 99 percent of Theranos shareholders reached an agreement with the company to dismiss all current and potential litigation in exchange for shares of preferred stock. Holmes released a portion of her equity to offset any dilution of stock value to non-participating shareholders."

Yes, they continued to hold!!

Were they FERKIN' MAD??? Accepting percentage shares in something with ZERO and, if not for limited liability, NEGATIVE net worth?

Almost every one of these morons - I assume a few jumped ship in the next months - LOST 100% OF THEIR INVESTMENT (ordinary plus bonus preferential stock) when this fraudulent company went belly-up, as was guaranteed to happen eventually.

---

The question for my friend RAVENNA23 is, do we have anything to learn about this phenomenon (rather like Stockholm Syndrome, about whose origins a movie has been made in 2022) from """investors""" in EDEN?

(chuckle, popcorn)

Who cares, suckers? So super wants to prove she's even stupider than we thought. Bingo, she wins. She is stupider than we thought, and still holds, reading tea leaves in Meddlina Gates' menstrual stew.

Unless they hold some other position and thus motive in keeping up appearances, every single holder of this pariah of A.I.M. is an idiot.
