Mr Mac,

The Half Yearly Report RNS dated 29 September 2023 states:

"We are also exploring other means to bring Ecovelex (R) to the market sooner, such as via emergency authorisations which could see the product being used as early as the 2024 growing season. However, such authorisations are not guaranteed, and we are working to ensure that we obtain full authorisation in a timely manner."

They are still trying to get emergency authorisation, unless you know of a more recent statement saying otherwise.

I see that Corteva have a new solution for insecticide seed treatment called Artemide.

Its formulation is "Micro-encapsulated CS". I wonder what type of encapsulation that is exactly.

Its availability is also "to be confirmed".

I see they've backtracked on Ecovelex EU approval. They'd stated early 2024 but now it could be May 2025 and even then they're hedging their bets. As we know, the EU, like our own government, is easily bought off by massive petro- and agro-chemical companies so don't hold your breath. Sales growth of their other products is rancid. You'd have to be mad to throw more money at this.

Corteva set to bolster grain safety, digital push.

Corteva Agriscience, a US-based agricultural chemical and seed company, said it would strengthen its efforts in China to help boost agricultural seed breeding sector and maintain national grain security.

To that end, Corteva will continue investing in China and deepen its partnerships with local players.

The company boasts more than half of the seed resources worldwide. It said it is determined to further tap the potential of the Chinese market through more collaborations with domestic players.

The placing is tax deductible. The discount should therefore be 40%, but you have to hold for two years. I doubt that those buying into an EIS scheme will be buying Eden, just a vague AIM biotech/tech fund. So those invested have already lost over 20%, great investment. Well done Cenkos, I wonder what their fee is? Congratulations Monet you have just been diluted 25%, but I expect you are well in the red anyway. Care to crow about your losses? Once again I did not lie, but you are such a numbskull I cannot be angry about such accusations. Back down below 4p once Cenkos have banked their fee.

A reality check for all of you dreamers. Eden only raised 1.5m, that is only a few months cash (salary for directors). There has been no further mention of the 9m from EIS schemes. This is probably due to the fact that 3 months after half year end there are still no accounts. Why, because I doubt given Edens financial position even the most optimistic auditor could declare them as a going concern, namely enough money to last a year. No reputable EIS manager will put money into such a company. Your only hope now is that Corteva are feeling generous and buy out Eden. This will be at a lower price than you just paid at the cap raise. However I still think Edens will go into administration or be taken private. May have got the date wrong, but yet to be proved wrong.
The directors of Eden are doing shareholders no favours whatsoever. Hopium is the only thing for holders.)
