I imagine the label extension Igor tells us about is likely not far away given the signals three plus years ago from the Corn 2019 and 2020 trials which likely led to the 2021 Milestone Agreement signed with Corteva when Smith told us about the '2024 growing season'.

Ecovelex EUA incoming?

Further support for Syngenta being Eden's 2nd Seed treatment partner?

Since it's good to get corroboration for ones guesses following my Nilceli Fernandes comments in post 15299 I'm delighted to see two senior Syngenta employees 'like' the Ecovelex post of Corteva's Leonardo C. the EMEA Seed Applied Technologies Leader.(referenced in post 15274)

Of course they could just be old pals from when Leonardo worked at Syngenta but my hunch is that there is more to the Syngenta / Corteva relationship than meets the eye.

€5 million released to advertise organic products

The organic sector had been asking for it for many months. This time, it has been heard: a major communication campaign will be conducted by the Organic Agency to support organic products. The State will release an envelope of 5 million euros per year for three years, announced the Minister of Agriculture, Marc Fesneau, on September 21 at the Tech & Bio Show in Bourg-lès-Valence (Drôme).

"This major communication campaign will be worked in conjunction with all stakeholders, and will aim to reverse the decline in demand for organic products, and to put organic farming back on the trajectory we have set ourselves by 2030 in terms of organic farming areas," said the Minister. With this additional budget, the Organic Agency can launch more serenely its new #Bioréflexe campaign, which will start on 23 September on the occasion of European Organic Day.

Corteva don't need to buy Eden, they have the distribution rights. Just let Eden shareholders fund the research, then starve them out of existence and buy from the administrators. Shareholders in Eden will not do well from this deal.

I'm not convinced of that myself..remember the Camilla Corsi etal presentation was five years ago and all they have done since is built SAT up and invested in capacity but Eden stay independent at a time when Corteva expect to derive the fasting growing part of it's revenue from biopesticides?

Why is that? and why was Smith on the stage?
