I continue in my belief that Eden is finished if it is incapable of generating decent sales - +/- £5 million - in short order. However, it seems that the directors are content to rape the company with unjustified salaries / bonuses, and are bereft of any credible plan to sell what they have developed. Product A1 - management Z.

The key to health wealth and happiness here is an order book of , as agreed by the good , the bad and downright ugly yesterday , of three times annual spend . Being collegiate I put that up for debate. Or , roll of drums , How many orders can we get if £15 million in the next year folks?

Ok so we make a loss with half year revenues down on the figures to last Devember but product range multiplied by geography somewhat greater. Quite a lot greater,Some business development opex being funded count of the raise . Should that have waited for the order book increase thst has been indicated as going to happen whatever?

I'm not... but also, the game isn't over yet. Rav, there will be certain journals that an auditor would insist upon in the annual accounts. Notes in accounts are for explanation behind the figures they are in no way hidden. You have some valid points regarding sales and progress for EDEN, but I think you are off track here a little bit. Ecovalex could be transformational - it might not be. Time will tell.

RAV, It's you who lies and tries to twist things around. I think you were looking in the mirror when you wrote this.

(If you recall Timbo, I have explained myself before. I lost a significant sum of money before on a small cap company where the company directors conduct was similar to Eden. The crooks of this world rely on the fact that there is an innocent born every minute. I cannot be described as altruistic but am trying to guide those that may have less experience of the markets than your good self. Call it a hobby if you like.)

The fund raising mentioned new staff for USA office which makes sense but also sounded like Sipcam had much of that covered unless it was for a Corteva or insecticide related operation.. I'm wondering will the bolstering of the commercial team involve folk who need to speak Mandarin as I'm guessing China is the 'South East Asian country they are likely referring to?

'The use of proceeds raised from the firm placing and retail offer will primarily be allocated towards the funding of materials to build up stocks for our new seed treatment. We will also be looking to grow the Ecovelex® label through further lab screening and field trials, and formulation development, as well as expand our territorial presence in new regions such as Latin America and South-East Asia. Lastly, we intend to bolster our commercial team with the appointment of a new commercial director and a market development and product manager'.

Sorry but this is no better than sleight of hand. Why is it that the truth with Eden is always hidden in the notes to the accounts. The directors have already been castigated by the FRC for massaging revenue figures, because the truth is so bad. If the auditors stated there was a risk to intangible values why was this not quantified before the fund raising? You are an apologist for aggressive accounting methods which mislead ordinary investors.

Ravenna23, nothing has been hidden or massaged. Your comments are libellous so be careful. Take a look at the 2022 annual report and turn to the auditors report on page 48. It states that there is a risk that the carrying value of intangibles requires impairment. That report was dated 4 May 2023. The fund raising did not take place until 28 July.

Interesting to read the cavendish note just out - compares Eden to Biotalys a Belgium company - behind Eden in both sales and regulatory approvals but which is trading at 43 times sales.

Eden is considerably undervalued.

Maybe not insolvent, but they have raised money based on a balance sheet of 10m as at 31/12/22 when its true value was half that. What else is being hidden or massaged?

Not insolvent. Net assets at 30th June after the £5 million provision were £4,988,443. Look at the balance sheet.

In due course I will post here my Letter of Intent to the tadpole "statutory auditor" putting them on alert as to what is going on, and leaving them no doubt of the status of their practising certificate should they fail to strictly comply with the law.

None of you cretins will even begin to understand, but you aren't my target audience.... ;-)
