Yes I was expecting a statement around that time. Like you I think it could have something to do with the new Chairman arriving..we'll see.

Although the share price is low we've been seeing some encouraging stake building I believe.

What ever happened to the trading statement that was due on 21st December? Looks like there has been no Material change in the figures to the business since the last Agm? Or it delayed to allow the new chairman to get his feet under the table.What ever the reason- it ain't helping both the sentiment & the share price

Well, it is down trending since 2013. Climate change is a big, worldwide issue and climate has affected the harvest.

Nothwithstanding this, with less produced, mitigating risk and ensuring production against disease up to three days before with a bio product, exempt from MRL has to be the way to go.

I wonder what market share 3AEY will achieve in 2018 in Spain, France and Italy respectively? I wonder how many farmers will choose to buy 3AEY as insurance in the unknown event of unfavourable climatic conditions repeating this year. Will the exempt from MRL be the deciding purchase factor?

I don't see a 'global downtrend in production' in that link. 2013 was a peak, 2014, 15 & 16 were average years and 2017 was an historical low due to 'extreme weather events – from frost to drought' in Europe. IMO , this extreme weather is due to the after effects of a RECORD El Nino (2014-2016) followed by La Nina, which has produced unusual weather all over the world for the last three years.

Average production since 2000 is just over 270 mhl and I expect it to get back to at least that in 2018.

Also, in May we should have the Final Results and more 'Bon Voyage!' tweets (the last one was in May 2017), so the Company should be in a position to provide its shareholders with some information on the early 2018 demand for 3LOGY. As far as Eden is concerned (mainly because EU approvals have taken longer than they should have) the general market would pay more attention to this, than it would to a lot of early PR type, hot air estimates of demand.

The seller could be feeling a bit silly in four months time, or sooner if TT or Bayer launch products.

The lack of news and the market's view that it has heard the story from Eden for years with no suitable financial performance has affected sentiment.
Sentiment affects a share price more than news.
In my view, the share price has swung too far to the downside. I am hopeful that Bayer and TT will both launch products with Eden IP this year - as the BoD has stated in the AR and Interims etc.
I am also hopeful Eastman will deliver some positive news.
I expect that when sentiment changes we will eventually see a proper spike in the share price
At this moment it seems fanciful to think of an share price of 50p - but that could easily happen within 18 months.
Eden and long suffering PIs deserve a bit of good fortune.

I also think the current share price weakness is possibly only one holder with a decent stake selling. If it is more than one my guess is it's not many .The lack of news certainly does not help but it does give some of us an opportunity to top up at a decent price, IMO

Supersonica you are too good for Eden!The current board have lost the plot & failed to communicate effectively with the current shareholders who are now fed up & selling out. They would have difficulties telling a bed time story let alone explain the merits of the company which pays them handsomely. £1 is far too optimistic at this stage. Let's hope & see the share price reach 14p & hold.

No I don't work for Eden but I do like the Idea of Eden investing in me..that would make a nice change.

I'll get my reward when Eden share price tips over the 100p mark in a couple of years maybe sooner.

Supersonico, do you work for Eden??Seriously??Your PR and research is 100 times better and if not, if Eden monitor this thread take a leaf or employ super because he would be a good investment and would be far cheaper...Come on Eden break the deathly silence, show you're all alive and doing stuff???? Issue numbers so the market can finally sit up and take notice, no more jam tomorrow rather than our pen works signing numerous agreements which do diddly for the reason why were here aside from the great products... SHARE PRICE..

The first is an antibotritic based on natural terpenes free of residues and therefore usable until harvest. Ideal also in terms of resistance management, 3Logy is an effective and flexible tool in the hands of the most modern winemakers, also attentive to the residual and environmental profiles of crop protection products. Lieto SC, based on cymoxanil and zoxamide, has been distinguished on the peronospora, which has already given excellent results on its debut in the field. Highly effective in protecting the vine cluster, it has also proved to be decisive against mildew and tomato, potato and tobacco alternatives.

Important news also on the topic of insecticides. A hot topic such as the Asian Bug is now a highly effective technical combination for its containment. Three polyvalent insecticides that can be alternated in the year, controlling a wide spectrum of other parasites, namely Epik SL, Trebon UP and Runner LO, based respectively of acetamiprid, etofenprox and chlorpyrifos-methyl, which also counts on a new formulation developed by Sipcam Italia to drastically reduce odors and drift.

As for Epik SL, the insecticide has now established itself as the reference product even on Asian bugs, although its effectiveness is also known on cochineals, phylloxera, scaphoid, Drosophila and fruit fly. Since 2018 the product has further expanded the label with the extension to new crops and relevant adversities, such as the olive tree, on it can be used against fly, moth and - first authorized product in this regard - on Philaenus spumarius, or the "Sputacchina" vector of Xylella fastidiosa. Other extensions for Epik SL are wheat, apricot, plum, lettuce and baby leaf.

In the field of geoinsetticides, Ercole GR also acquires new crops and uses, including sugar beet and sweet corn.
