Many thanks crystal ball, that's very helpful plus reassuring to know Fiona is absolutely open to queries.

Me too, though I suspect the CSo-50 workover has been postponed pending a wider work program to re-establish oil production from suitable wells.

edit: thanks for clarification crystball.

Her reply was......

CSo 50 was targeting a small NW accumulation of potential gas (c. 10% of the volume on the east flank Springhill formation tested by CSo 85) but failed to produce any significant h/carbons though further reduced uncertainty on reservoir fluid distribution within this historic field.

The result does not impact the viability of the east flank Springhill accumulation in any way where the extended testing continues or indeed the potential gas resources of the deeper Tobifera formation to the west of the Canandon Salto Field.

Hope that helps

Fiona

To me it suggested that they have decided not to do the third while they rethink a rehabilitation plan?

Today's update did not give any specific results from the third workover well CSo-50. 2 out of 3 workovers therefore with a good result and we assume no gas resulting from the last Fraccion D workover. Onwards to Fraccion C.

Good explanation of why they found oil instead of gas too.

And yet they attracted loads of investment at 17.5p. I am sure they didn’t think it too much and surely did DD and run the slide rule.

Yes, but svs do you not think it might be due to the size of ECHO's market cap ? I hold quite a large position. Am hearing this from a couple of previous investors who sold at 15.5 p.

RE: Newcastle

If they can get they will drop a pump down CSO-80 the last work over via wireline (CHEAP) and see how it performs. Basically where there doing the worker the gas has migrated into other structures slightly alowing oil level to rise hence the oil instead of gas. Theres 130 redundant wells in this area there considering going back into if there quick monetisation thought to be had and while its not guaranteed I THINK they will be going down this route and could be as soon as next month!

Another red day. Broadly positive RNS first thing Monday and this brings 3 days of share price reducing. What would a poor RNS do? Shudder to think
