Posted at 05/7/2024 22:11 by helpfull Same old same old.Conditional Convertible Loan Note (6/6/2024). £80,000 at 94% of principal = £75,200. Legal fees for the implementation of the CLN = £8,000. Arrangement fee of 3.5% of the CLN = £2,800. £80,000 - £4,800 - £8,000 - £2,800 = £64,400 is the sum paid by the lender to Echo Energy. The lender has to be paid back £80,000 even though he only pays out £64,400. Today (5/7/2024) £45,000 of the owed £80,000 was taken in shares at 0.0027p. Equal to 1,666,666,666 new shares. Selling at 0.0030p would garner another £5,000 on top of the £45,000 (although shareholders do not know when the selling will start or if it has started). There is another £35,000 of the £80,000 loan to be paid back. At today's price that would be 1,300,000,000 new shares. Pro rata the lender could recoup £89,000 for a loan of £64,400. A £24,600 profit. Or 38% profit on a zero interest loan, for a few months work. A 228% annual interest rate. Shareholders pay for the dilution. It all relies on the mug punter, and there are many around. Martin Hull and James Parsons are still owed £78,469 and £31,978 respectively for 2023 according to the annual results. They might be beneficiaries. Be careful. |
Posted at 24/6/2024 12:33 by helpfull Echo Energy has to produce final results for year ending 2023 by the end of the week.Or possible suspension of the shares could happen until the results are published. Last year the shares were suspended. This year the company has sold off most of the Argentinian assets so the financial results should be simpler. But don't bet on it. Be careful. |
Posted at 30/5/2024 18:18 by steelwatch Another Parsons domino falls. Out of SOU, CRCL, CORO & now ECHO. Still on the AST board, though his mate Marco has stepped down there. |
Posted at 29/2/2024 08:28 by aspect100 There is a lot of posters trying to talk this down on the boards. They don't seem to have figured out that this is a change of direction for ECHO,and they are most likely planning to buy some higher quality assets - and it can't be done instantly. This new approach is going to pay off very nicely for investors, and this is one of the few small oil & gas companies, that I have placed a fair amount of cash, with over 320 Mln shares. I expect a big profit from this in the medium to long term. There are some posters that should be ignored. |
Posted at 19/2/2024 11:45 by helpfull What is happening with Echo Energy? All these billions of shares traded daily. Washing machine trading. The management have got the funds to pay their remuneration by tripling the amount of shares in issue. They still have €10,000,000 of debt as well as a £1,000,000 loan. Mug punters look in the washing machine window and see suds. The bubbles and froth keep them happy. But eventually the washing machine will be allowed to drain. They deserve what is coming to them. Be careful. |
Posted at 16/2/2024 09:44 by tomboyb ECHO is a complete P.O.S -However it was a trade at 0.0046p - |
Posted at 16/2/2024 08:10 by richpassi No temptation whatsoever. I buy my shares through Halifax and they won't even sell them.... That tells me something. My history with Echo if I remember correctlyBought 2000 poundAnother 200 in rights issueSold ALL for 200........if I had left them in today that would be a tenner ;) |
Posted at 14/2/2024 19:21 by richpassi I hope it does for you, but my advice is if you can sell at a £1 profit, that would be a success with ECHO ! All the best |

Posted at 29/1/2024 08:11 by ohdearohdearohdear Famous chartist Zak Mir yesterday..........."Echo Energy (ECHO) resumed its recent recovery in the wake of last month’s debt restructuring news, and the previous month’s new CEO news. It would appear that the turnaround does have legs here, and that above 0.1p – old December support, the shares could push ahead to the 0.25p zone in coming weeks." Does anybody still doubt that charts are nothing more than a trailing indicator ;-) |
