22/2/2024 05:30 | Maybe they are waiting on the accountants compiling the figures ? Isnt a company legally bound to report bad news ? | red ninja
21/2/2024 10:10 | Looking like the latest date for a TU this time of year ever for EBQ. Not always a good sign - TBD. Waiting for something positive to be ready to announce or trying to ignore facing a bad announcement? Increased net debt without compensating growth will not go down well. They have a great deal going for them and failure to exploit can't just be blamed on the market if they don't make use of the opportunity. | p1nkfish
15/2/2024 17:04 | I thought a lot of the selling was just due to impatient investors fearing the worst when the TU didn't come out earlier this week. I am hopeful for the TU, but obviously have no insider knowledge as to how good/bad it will be. | red ninja
14/2/2024 18:58 | Published today, 14/2/24, worth a read as comes across as largely positive for Ebiquity offerings, see Nick Waters comments at the end too. Perhaps share price is out of whack and TU will be positive? | p1nkfish
12/2/2024 13:08 | 19th Feb was latest date for early year TU over past few years so must be close. Can't keep running up net debt. Pretty sure their market won't be booming so increased productivity and new revenue streams needed. | p1nkfish
04/2/2024 09:51 | TU this week? Hope for some positivity out of EBQ and a sign they are riding the changes to enable better shareholder returns. The legacy mass media are going through substantial lay-offs as bias is being punished and/or ad spend shifting to new channels/media with spend having to be utilised more efficiently. EBIQUITY Transmit might do well if all it offers are facts, figures and data on the market and no bias. Data, data, data from trillions of ad impressions can have value too. A more efficient platform being rolled out with GMP365. The price response to the results was over done but nothing will change without a reason that I hope this TU will offer a glimpse of. | p1nkfish
31/1/2024 06:44 | Listed to the Google/ABC call and Gen-AI had substantial mentions inc for the ad market. Moving so fast it's hard to track, along with Connected TV and SMB/SME sound like having more access too. A deluge of change to negotiate. | p1nkfish
28/1/2024 16:40 | By next TU they should be 33% into the transformation of the transitioning of core services onto the GMP365 data management platform. But this is what I want to see show-up in services offered and as a revenue stream, EMPHASIS MINE........ "Generative AI needs to be trained on data. The quality of that data is a determinant in the quality and therefore value of the output. ONE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE of Ebiquity is our VAST AND GROWING LAKE OF DATA from the global media industry that can be trusted. It is actual data from BILLIONS of pounds/Euros/dollars of bought media activity........ A SIGNIFICANT ADVANTAGE for Ebiquity therefore is the TRUSTED DATA we manage in our PROPRIETARY CLOSED ENVIRONMENT. As such, we believe Generative AI represents more of an opportunity than a threat for Ebiquity." I think the sell-off at the interims was over done. | p1nkfish
19/1/2024 22:27 | This is just the start: With a bit of luck EBQ will be leveraging their ad impression data somehow using AI to add service revenue streams as well as using AI tools to boost productivity. When enough companies use AI, those not doing so will see their EPS and growth pale in comparison and find themselves massively de-rated by the market, no time to waste. | p1nkfish
11/1/2024 20:36 | One day left of the week and so far highest weekly volume since April 2023 and price uptick. Good to see a bit of interest shown. | p1nkfish
02/1/2024 17:28 | Ok thanks - suspect that's an estimate based on last year. Brokers usually do that until the real date becomes known, either on website or RNS. Panmure are the shop so it would be interesting to see if they have anything in their results calendar. | tradertrev
02/1/2024 16:45 | See Cavendish/Fincap tech diary page, All together directors physically own 8.5% with vast majority (>8%) with the Digital Decisions founder. The others directors are sending a poor signal to the market, lacking much commitment to share price performance and unclear how aligned to the shareholders. One of the larger funds might want to whisper in their ear or perhaps they also don't care and it's just a cosy club. | p1nkfish
02/1/2024 14:28 | Is that TU date based on last year's date or have you seen something? | tradertrev
02/1/2024 14:27 | Pity the directors don't show a bit of commitment and buy some shares. Their holdings are pitiful. They may have loads of options but that is only incentive, it's not commitment or confidence. | tradertrev
02/1/2024 13:46 | Looking like 6th Feb TU. | p1nkfish
16/11/2023 09:23 | This: then this: Generally interesting and could have some positive implications. | p1nkfish
07/11/2023 10:26 | Looks promising: Ebiquity, positioned to benefit........ “Once again this annual survey of major advertisers reveals fascinating insights into future investment intentions. With 60% of respondents planning to increase advertising budgets, we see a level of confidence that seems contradictory to the prevailing economic outlook. (...) With advertising typically seen as a two-quarter leading indicator of the wider economy, does this signify a recovery coming in mid-2024?” - Nick Waters, CEO Ebiquity because they have services to address the issues below that need fixing........ “There is some cautious optimism returning to media spending and, predictably, the money is flowing towards digital. However, to enable longer-term digital market growth, we have to fix key issues of quality, transparency, responsibility, measurement and, importantly, sustainability. We call on the industry to rally around the steps outlined in the WFA’s new Media Charter. Fix the fundamentals to unlock growth.” - Stephan Loerke, CEO WFA | p1nkfish
26/10/2023 10:36 | Give it time and we will see a decent move up as EBQ embeds its data capabilities wider and deeper. Just one single example of Domino's pushing media plans through EBIQUITY, really driven some significant ROI for Domino's. "The company uses a third-party media investment analysis model from Ebiquity, which Barron says is to ensure that “every penny is really well spent.” "Any media plan we want to do, we push through them so that they can help us understand the long-term, and that is what’s really driven some significant increases for us in return on investment. Which again, just means I can stand up in front of the franchisees, and based on data and fact, say ‘we’re making your money work hard for you and therefore I would like to suggest that we spend more on this.’" Results will show through and especially as the US growth kicks in. | p1nkfish
18/10/2023 09:16 | Get this this conglomeration of media info onto every media exec desktop and it will have value. Ebiquity should launch an app for IOS/Android too - wouldn't be expensive, with option to push info to the subscribers mobile/tablet, if the subscribers wants it of course. | p1nkfish
18/10/2023 08:36 | Acquisition, too small to RNS probably, an interesting move. A while before very useful contribution but probably low op-ex. A move to add another path forward into Ebiquity being "THE" go to. | p1nkfish
04/10/2023 11:30 | It's a lovely space to operate in Cerrito especially with the chaos unfolding as Gen AI kicks in at the same time as the number of outward bound channels is increasing along with personalisation. | p1nkfish
04/10/2023 11:09 | As you say pinkfish they do have a strong shareholder base which has been pretty stable in the recent past. I note that voter turnout at the last AGM was over 80pc, a very high figure and resolutions passed a la North Korea and does suggest an engaged shareholder base. | cerrito |
