29/5/2020 11:13 | It around lunch time now it's long way to 7.10 | vas007
29/5/2020 07:43 | Boris will not allow flights as soon as R goes anywhere near 1. What makes you think we won't go near 1 as the lockdown lifts, if we could barely keep it under 1 during lockdown? Second_Wave | hodhasharon
29/5/2020 07:42 | Don't worry, we'll see 710p again by lunchtime :-) | hodhasharon
29/5/2020 07:32 | Oh look, the shorters are getting so desperate they on on BB posting nonsense in the panic of closing out before the weekend. You missed the spike down to £7.10 folks.... | swiss tony
29/5/2020 07:24 | Bull_Trap worked a treat. | hodhasharon
29/5/2020 07:16 | Bought some more this morning, the short squeeze is on. How long are you gong to hold for shorters, over the weekend, or close out now before the herd close out this afternoon? | swiss tony
29/5/2020 06:56 | Why would you close with this scenario You would probably increase your bet The writing is on the wall for all to see | phillis
29/5/2020 06:53 | Phillis because over the years they have done really well and delivered healthy profits oh and also because with around 10% short there is a significant number of buyers out there who don't have to think about it....... they have to buy at whatever price the market dictates to close their shorts! AQR and Citadel being good examples having started it seems to slowly reduce their exposure.... Disclosed positions in EASYJET PLC (EZJ) Notice: We no longer track disclosures after they drop below 0.5%. It is possible that the manager still holds a short position even if we are showing it as zero. 28/5/2020 18:09 | Why do people persist in buying Ezj which is shrinking quickly and will not achieve historic levels of capacity utilisation for two years and has under-utilised aircraft coming out of their ears over the coming months | phillis
28/5/2020 18:03 | When I last checked loganair, Easyjet don't have much involvement in the US market. I thought this mornings announcement of trimming the schedule and fleet down was just about spot on. Get rid of the inefficient aircraft (and under performing staff ;-) ) The markets seemed to like it :-) | tlobs2
28/5/2020 16:42 | don’t pay and lose your slots what a good idea. | albert3591
28/5/2020 16:40 | While the pandemic has led to a 96 percent plunge in air travel within the United States, the nation’s airlines are not allowed to implement any layoffs as a condition of their $25 billion bailout package. However, the ban only runs until September 30. United Airlines has already told staff it plans job cuts of at least 30 percent on October 1. A third of United’s 12,250 pilots may have to leave the company. | loganair
28/5/2020 16:36 | European low-cost airlines are also pressuring airports which have been left deserted to slash charges in return for resuming flights. Wizz Air, Ryanair, and EasyJet have reportedly demanded long-lasting fee discounts or waivers from airports. Ryanair said it “will prioritize those airports who agree the following load factor/cost measures,” before requesting a “100 percent waiver” on fees until October and deep cuts extending another year. EasyJet invited airports to make Apprentice-style pitches during 20-minute Skype sessions held recently “to discuss how you can and will support easyJet to restart operations.” The company said: “We request that you present to us your best offer, which will strongly influence how we deploy capacity.” | loganair
28/5/2020 13:17 | hxxps://www.politics If it's good enough for the pubs it's good enough for the airports, airlines and cruise ships :-) | tlobs2
28/5/2020 11:24 | Some thoughts on EZJ here: | bolo25
28/5/2020 10:32 | Rally fizzled out. Shorts at the ready | informant
28/5/2020 08:20 | Squeezy Jet … We know you institutions are 8.5%+ short … going to squeeze you more.... :-) | invisage
28/5/2020 07:32 | You can tell ell the shorters are struggling from BB posts. | swiss tony
28/5/2020 07:22 | Good morning Mr Jones. If you look at the dates when some of those short positions were increased (around 550p) then they are certainly feeling the pain again today. Their nuts are in the vice...... A sensible announcement from Easyjet this morning won't help ;-) | tlobs2
27/5/2020 23:21 | FTSE100 trackers may sell and FTSE250 trackers will buy | philanderer
27/5/2020 22:36 | Hi does the share lose value in price as it will be on the ftse 250 not on the ftse100 | mano300 |
