These are the type of numbers investors are looking at

hxxp://www.mediacentre.gatwickairport.com/press-releases/2017/long-haul-routes-soar-in-busiest-ever-january.aspx

February showing the same

Theses are spectacular numbers . Oil price down, sterling getting a bid. Seat reveunue down but players like monarch getting squeezed in my opinion.

Easy business travel rising, flight times perfect for business . Analyst regarding the fleet value approx same as market cap, yes cancellations happen but us 2% today going to break the excellent model. If you really believe this keep shorting

just more drivel and garbage from slobs.

I'll post the delay and cancellation stats on Monday morning (especially for slobs and isabelle) but if you want to see them now, all available on Flightaware.com/ live flight tracking/cancellations.

The stats on Flightaware for Air France and RyanAir are, inter alia, noteworthy.

It's just one airport to firkin eejit. Get over it.

I get the feeling that you are in here far too deep and out of your depth. I like to say that I feel sorry for you but I don't. You are a disgusting individual who appears to enjoys spreading doom and gloom. That's probably why you are a loner.

Bad, bad incident in Paris today.

Anyone seen the delay statistics today?

I'll post them on Monday.

Not good news for the sector whatsoever. More delays. More cancellations.

All these delays and cancellations, French ATC strike, Berlin ground crew strike , Storm Doris and now today's Paris incident will likely take a significant toll on the bottom line of the sector.

It just keeps on getting worse and worse in this troubled sector.

It will be recalled how last year how delays and cancellations hit sector profitability badly.

If it had that impact last year, one can but speculate that it will have a similarly negative financial impact this current year.

A very bleak and negative operating environment.

That's before you factor in the enormous increase in seat capacity which is driving revenue per seat across the sector to the floor.

A very worrying sector.

As I say, I'll post the final delay stats on Monday morning. Very worrying time for investors in the sector.

When you see the FTSE repeatedly hitting new all-time-highs since the beginning of 2017 but any of its constituent shares having gone into reverse within the same time-frame, it is a very negative and significant event and worrying direction of travel.

It was a UT trade yesterday and it was triple witching.....most FTSE 100 companies had massive trades yesterday if you take a look, so I wouldn't read too much into it. But happy to be wrong of course!

I take it that you currently have no position unlike QP who is thankfully drowning day by day.

Well it's time to go out and celebrate a good week and St Pats with a couple of pints of the black stuff :-)

You seem to have sussed out tslob pretty quickly. He's been the same for years. Arrogant, invariably wrong and ignorant.

Share performing as expected, and should hit my target next week, before the prevailing strong downtrend resumes.

Anyone bought at 1500 could be looking for a return as early as August. Who knows it could go either way but for now best be in for the ride than sit as a spectator
