Judging by the comments of the Trump loonies, there will soon be package holidays to the 'valuable real estate' beaches in Gaza. Where is Lee Harvey Oswald when the world needs him. |
T2T "EZY are a tremendous airline. It's worrying to see how many are easily caught up and think that it seamlessly transmit into the package holiday market."
So where are the 'so many' on this thread, with the seamlessly comments ?
You seem to fail to see how entering a new market, although requiring care, is not the same as fighting for market share if you're already entrenched in it. If you don't incur a complete set of new costs, you'll add margin to your overall activities.
Obviously if you didn't have any aeroplanes, infrastructure, supply chains, etc. the set up costs and admin. would present a major risk.
fwiw the chart appears to have bounced off an upward curving bottom trendline, at the price that has been resistance for quite some time. The upper line passes through 700p. |
Brody wrongly I feel. The story ahead will have many twists and turns but ultimately I suspect that European travel is the place to be. We'll wait and see but currently this share price remains ridiculous. It looks like we have headroom above £6 if the level of crazy in Washington is moderate. Could we all be going to Gaza for our holidays soon....... |
Yump, 645p based on what?
If whole market sentiment improves then it could get caught up in the wave , but nothing economically good going on at present here in the UK , growth forecasts slashed in half today by the BOE to .75% from 1.5% and recession likely. |
Another one-liner genius filtered. (Not you Sapphire).
I blame Twitter for training people to post in 140 characters.
In any case 343p is a ridiculous target. 645.3p is clearly more realistic. |
Interest rates decision as expected. |
But September is 7 months. No |
Let's see. Please screenshot our posts side by side. See you in a few months. |
I know this won't sit well with the bulls on here, but my analysis is showing a 343p target coming around September time. |
Interesting that Julie Chakraverty a non exec decided to become a shareholder. £100k invested from a salary of £84k. After tax probably 2 years income I assume that the feeling of the board is the share price is nonsense. I do wonder how extreme it has to become before they do something about it. |
What's the rationale behind your prediction of 15% fall in Brent crude? |
Brent crude below $75 for March delivery. It will head into the mid $60's. |
Using existing resources is just part of it. It's a symbiotic hybrid, not just using existing resources but growing within an existing structure that has room to double triple or quadruple without any unplanned substantial investment. It's very likely that the holiday business will create more profit than the airline with a couple of years |
In terms of actually running a business, which I think is a bit important…
If you enter a new market and get it right using existing resources, your returns will increase.
You can also cherry-pick the most profitable viable areas picking market segments. That data will be avsilable.
Also, you are not dependent on that market to maintain profits because you start from zero.
There are a whole host of other positives.
Its not just a pile into something regardless process. |

Two separate things there then: What sapphire thinks What EZJ are actually doing and likely to achieve assuming they’re not daft. |
Out for now. :-) |
I should think Bank of America are out so selling pressure off. Wizz air are either overvalued or EZJ undervalued. I think a combination of both. |
Farrugia I absolutely agree. |
Farrugia, the whole UK and other EU markets are trading at lower values. Money has/is being ploughed into US markets as growth is much better there.
The UK and EU economies are flatlining, here mainly due to anti business policies by the Labour government.
Plenty of other shares are trading lower, EZJ doesn’t stand out more than any other UK company. |
