9 days until Q1 results. I suspect that Q1 has been rather good. I am not much interested in the share price, more focused on the business. A loss between £80-100m is what I expect, anything less than £80m will be very positive for this year. |
Goldman Sachs raises easyJet price target to 630 (600) pence - 'neutral' |
Tempting to buy back in after selling in £5.50s. But I think I'll wait and see if £5.00 support holds. Amazingly IAG has been going the other way whilst EZJ has been sliding..... |
Of course it has |
Bull the share price has nothing to do with easyJet or their market position. |
Not interesting watching price fall below £5... let's see if it can hold on to this level |
Interesting |
A worthless prediction based on nothing but hope and showing to be completely wrong. |
T2T, I’ve seen a few TV ads for EasyJet stating massive discounts.
How many times has sapphire predicted correct, even in a binary choice she gets it wrong the vast majority of the time, that’s the reason she’s bubbling away underwater sitting on losses. |
We'll see a reverse in the ebb back to flow this week. Q1 results will be decent and they are on 22 January |
New BA Club rewards flights with holidays |
Jet2 and TUI hammering the TV advertising. Competitive market place this summer. Ryanair and WIZZ have already made the air fare a race to the bottom. Maybe we are there with package holidays now. |
Datatit , where are you? |
Regardless of Q1 update, which will a loss regardless, this is a jam tomorrow share where sapphire has counted all the chickens before they have hatched.
The only real share price movement up will be based upon whole market sentiment here in the UK, which at the moment under this government is not very good, we are likely in recession soon given negative growth overall since the election and business optimism being negative |
Not a bad business to be sure But not a patch on JET2 |
3 weeks until the Q1 update. So what do we think We should see a maximum loss of £100m. I am hoping for a loss £50-60m. If we get that and are on course with H2 bookings then we could be on for a £750-£800m profit year. It's a long way off but Q1 breakeven is vital for the £1bn profit target. Q2 will always produce a loss, even with a big easyjet holidays winter performance. Going into Q4 ahead of zero is the goal. |
Happy New Year to all |
The economy is finally balanced. Have reduced my exposure to the sector significantly. |
Sapphire ramping again, it’s settling down at 560 she means |
Your observation us technically accurate. But EZJ is not doing one of those things - it's doing all of those things - and doing them well. A one stop shop if you will. Hence it'll ramp up to keep pace with the bug boys and in time, likely exceed them. |
We should be in line for more steady progress this week. We'll see another push for £6. At some point the traders will exhaust and the share price will gain ground above to £6.20. |
There is a great offer on easyJet holidays!"£199 off £400+ Easyjet Holidays w/ code - travel before 31/03": TRAVELZOO199.Just booked a week holiday in January - nearly half price, hurry up the code still working. |
