£640m if they are lucky |
Look at the last 3 years RNS. They always release 12th or 13th. This year it's the weekend. In 2020 it was the 8th but the last 3 12/13. |
Where did you get the information about Q4 update on the dates mentioned please. |
Q4 update next Friday or the following Monday. Not long to wait. £720-740m profit is my hope. That will reflect the epic summer we all had on the Costa. Still summer weather and still packed. |
I am surprised to see Ryanair up given the incident yesterday and the enquiry in Italy. I guess people are over the Israel stuff for now.
Wait for it. Israel create a buffer zone for their "security" The buffer zone becomes illegally occupied with government incentives. The whole thing repeats in 10 years time. |
Don't forget blames the EZY customers for booking garbage hotels that EZY offers. Sorry the booking portal...that when demand is low, the hoteliers will have zero interest in as they will want confirmed bookings from Jet2 etc. |
I don't see what that has to do with you. I work when I want. In fact I am working this morning. I worked all night experiencing the facilities at one of our hotels. I talk with guests, tour the premise and meet the hotel management. Off to test the pool. It's a tough day ahead |
Saph I say it because you don’t appear to work v much You spend far too much time on this bb |
What a slump !! |
And Oil is up nearly 3 percent |
Today's conflict in the Middle East impacting the share price as Iran is preparing its missiles. |
Was rude not to buy back |
So you say that because I am a woman?? I work when I want and at multiple locations. Today I am enjoying the sunshine by the pool. |
Are you supposed to be working from home Sapphire? |
Holidays are secondary to flights , in time they may increase , but they have had some bad press as some people end up with the rooms that nobody wants , then there is no representative about from easyJet to deal with queries or complaints. |
Cheers, Sapph! |
Foreverbull. Why would I get anything from easyJet?? I am simple saying why I am invested. I have a substantial investment here and I am not passive waiting for the news to break. I am in the leisure business and I see how easyJet has a unique product that has changed the industry. I believe that every hotel invited will join as the benefits are huge. I am invested in easyjet because of the holiday business. We anticipate a 12% rise next year after an 11% rise this year. Bookings are strong beyond easter. I am simply a shareholder. |
Sapp-i like your enthusiasm and out of my curiosity, do you get any fees or kickbacks from EasyJet or anyone in promoting EasyJet? And once it reaches your price target will you continue your promote EasyJet or move onto something else? Thanks |
Yes indeed. Stick to the facts. It's very visible how Q4 went. The facts will be updated in 2 weeks. I think that they will be rather good but the actual numbers will determine the valuation not the fog, smoke and mirrors of the market. If they hit £720m profit Q4 I will be pleased no matter what the share price thinks. |
Keep ignoring the drivel... |
Wizz Air plus 6% today.
See recent graph |
Yes they have a few years of loses to recoup |
They have already indicated their intention to pay 20% of profit after tax. The reward for shareholders will come through a rerate of the share price. Heads won't roll at all. The management are very switched on and executing a massive recovery from COVID stagnation. The planes are full because the management have the right aircraft flying at the right time to the right places at the right price |
Just back from Italy-flight full, plenty of onboard buying and loads of cabin and hold baggage. Market needs to see good, and not token, dividends. Mgmt has rewarded all stakeholders here, some too generously, especially themselves. Pandemic over 3 years,. No excuses for shareholder returns. Otherwise heads should roll. |
