"Anger at pizzeria's bid to extend open hours"

A pizza takeaway's plan to extend its opening hours has causing uproar among nearby residents.

Domino's, which only opened in St Mary's Street, Ely, in November, has applied for planning permission to stay open longer.

The high street chain wants to extend its hours from its current 11am-11pm limit to 7am to 5am each day.

But the application has sparked outrage from nearby residents.

Goldman Sachs has raised the target price for Domino's Pizza to 750p from 582p.

I have taken the trouble to call on five Dom outlets and talked to the owner/managers and asked the simple question 'How are you doing' After explaning that I am a shareholder witha reasonably sized (40K)Without exception they all report an upside trade.

Would appreciate if any of you Guys would ask the same question if it's convenient to you.

"Pizza delivery experts provide 500 free slices for stranded travellers" -

Domino's Pizza, the pizza delivery expert, has delivered some early Christmas cheer to stranded travellers at Gatwick Airport, by providing 500 free slices of piping hot pizza.

The pizzas were delivered over the weekend as hundreds of passengers became stranded at the airport following the snow.

Michaela Roberts, marketing manager of the Domino's Horley franchise which delivered to Gatwick, said: "We just wanted to do something to help and while the planes couldn't get through, at least our pizza delivery drivers still could! We understand how frustrating it must be for all those passengers and hope the free pizza slices helped to lift their spirits while they waited for the airport to reopen."

Domino's Pizza brings new jobs to Middlesbrough

Domino's Pizza will bring up to 25 new full and part time jobs to Middlesbrough as it prepares to open a brand new Domino's branch in the area next month.

The leading home pizza delivery company is due to open the Middlesbrough outlet on Linthorpe Road in December and is currently recruiting staff to work at the new store. A wide range of positions are available including trainee managers, pizza makers, customer service staff, and also pizza delivery drivers

I will predict a December 31st closing price of 545p. Early in the New Year I am hopeful that we shall see the price rise close to 600p, as the date of the IMS approaches. The winter weather should be good for business, provided the delivery guys can battle their way through the blizzards and snow drifts. During the snowy conditions in early 2010 many Domino's Pizza stores ceased deliveries, for the safety of the delivery drivers.
