Excellent point c2i.....seems people may be learning as the shareprice didn`t react anything like it did when Panmure initiated with that rating about a month ago.

Good long weekend everyone.

philanderer,

Clearly they have a large client/institution that desire a holding of DOM at a cheaper price. For example I sold out of XPP last September having bought at an average price of £1.48p. Thinking I would be able to buy back cheaper later in the year. It has never returned to £3.15p and this week hit £6.00p.

The lesson learnt is always keep your quality stocks and sell your speculative stocks instead. Therein Panmure will keep their bearish stance but may never obtain the lower price their client desires.

Afternoon c2i....... I see those rascals at Panmure have reiterated their 'sell' for DOM this morning (300p TP remaining). They seem to be in a minority.

robinnicolson,

Keep them coming.

Numis have always been very bullish on DOM. They are not one of the analyst whose general track record stands up to scrutiny. Then again which do?

Royfox,

Well done, it is always nice to buy a stock and to be in profit before the intra-day close. Having held since its IPO I hope that this will be a very profitable investment for you and all new investors.

SAS,

Yes they sure do and we could get more of an uplift tomorrow. Following then by press and investment articles going into the weekend. Next week could be another strong week.

Hi Royfox,

Welcome onboard. Yes DOM could/should have a very good summer in light of the World Cup. I am hoping that we will see >£4 post the conclusion of the tournament.

Hi all,

Well hopefully we have found immediate support @ £3.40p. With regards to the US rescue mission on the DOW, we could easily see DOM appreciating tomorrow.

Broker backing coming up to the World Cup will help this one I reckon.....

09.04.10: IC says Buy (346.8p) BULL POINTS Resilient in tight consumer conditions - Impressive sales growth - Robust expansion - Effective promotions and sponsorship deals BEAR POINTS Shares expensively rated for the sector - Dividend yield nothing special.

12-04-10 12.04.10 :+2, (352) Altium lifts Domino's Pizza target price to 490p from 415p and maintains a buy rating, following "yet another excellent trading update." Altium says Domino's remains the most attractive business model within its universe, and further forecast upgrades are very likely regardless of teh macroeconomic backdrop.

18-02-10 18.02.10 :+14, (352.9) Goldman Sachs lifts Domino's Pizza target price to 410p from 395p, "reflecting the roll-forward of the valuation, and a modest decrease in our overall capex estimates in 2010 and 2011." The brokerage also cites Domino's very strong FY results, saying they represent the continuation of a long-term track record of robust operational performance. Keeps at buy.
