Also glad we have sold off on these results and have put on modest gains...hope we can hold that level today and get to the business side of things once results day is out of the way..

I think we'll still get some sell recs citing the usual...'at a premium to the sector' 'overvalued' etc

The Motley fool and moneyweek has said the above in the past..

They fail to realise that you gotta pay for quality ;)

Must admit, I've been waiting for any sign that DOM is going ex-growth but it just continues to power ahead.

They talk of being able to open outlets until 2021....if they can do that without cannabilising sales/using marginal locations then good luck to them.

This growth story seems to have some time to run yet...

RoyalIT,

It's good to hear that you have checked out the competition.

philanderer,

Yes we should have few over the next few days and then some more potentially over the weekend. It will also be interesting to see what IC & Shares have to say.

Indeed we should be stealing growth from papa johns too as their pizza's are rank...Ordered from them once and never will I do so again...

Just had a dominos on Sunday evening...their garlic and herb sauce for crust dipping is amazing...The crust is just as good...and dont get me started on the actual pizza!

Hi all,

Another set out good numbers. Growth still on the agenda.
The CEO of Papa Johns (Pizza) was on CNBC last week talking about expanding his business. So clearly there is still room for even further expansion in the sector. Which with DOM's expertise and business model should mean that our long-term faith in the company will continued to be rewarded.

I am now looking forward to seeing £3.50p acting as support rather than resistance.

With system sales still growing at 17.5% plus and further share buybacks, I guess we may see a dividend of at least 10p this year and an share price over £4.00.

London Evening Standard newspaper:

"Tomorrow's agenda"

Pizza delivery firm Domino's Pizza has raked in huge profits during the recession, as lazy Brits dial in - and increasingly log on - for dinner. It is expected to update investors about its expansion progress. Numis says: "There are plenty of levers to drive sales higher, including more advertising and extended trading hours."

"Domino's Pizza is scheduled to release an interim management statement on Tuesday.

"The chain is expected to report a continuation of the good news and performance we have seen for some time.

"Poorer weather at the start of the year may have helped to improve these figures, as more people opted to eat at home."
