Thanks robin.

The new commissary should be up and running in only a few weeks now. Analysts should be visiting the site then as well.

Just look at the Dow - down below 10000 at one point - it's all kicking off now.

Up through 350p at one point today before the general market fell off a cliff this afternoon. Still, a good showing by DOM though and maybe better tomorrow

....FTSE futures +30 at present, but it seems to change in a flash these days.

johnyee7,

O/T GBR

I have had them on my watchlist since their IPO with a view to purchasing some with my DOM dividends. Unfortunately they keep raising money and closing stores. Once that ceases I might become interested. Capped @ £1.8m they could just as easily soar and become a £10m plus company as go out of business altogether.

All the best with your investment.

SAS,

Yes long HVN (holding medium size tranche) and short STHR via a JUNE spreadbet now @ £3.4925 after doubling my stake. Admittedly it is going to be a close call. I am not saying it is a poor company just richly valued compared to its peers. If I had been fortunate enough to have bought STHR last July @ sub £1.80p I would have sold out once it went above £3.60p due to its lofty valuation.

I would also add that stocks which are richly valued will be hurt IF this is the beginning of THE correction. Thankfully DOM whilst richly valued is a stock that funds tend to seek out when looking for safety/resilience in the melee.

contrarian2investor,

You too.

Are you still short on STHR?
I was looking at them and thought they were looking strong.

philanderer & SAS,

I would agree that DOM has performed well considering the General Market headwinds.

Here's wishing you both a relaxing long weekend. Easy on the pizzas!

Agree SAS, impressive share price strength today, and in fact we`re +8p on the week with the FTSE100 for example -175pts over the five days.

Good holiday weekend everyone.

Yes, fell at the last fence! But there's definitely upwards pressure on the SP
It probably wont happen until after 6th May

SAS, unfortunately not today by the look of things.

Main market is just too nervous especially with the long Bank Holiday weekend coming up. Too much can happen in the next three days......big volume today too - 1.2m+ so far.

philanderer,

Great find, the next step could be a DOM phone-ap to add to their on-line/ mobile presence.
