28/9/2011 16:06 | FT Alphaville NH Where now? BE Good question. Suggestions from the right welcome.BE Domino's perhaps? NH results NH didn't really look at them BE Altium did. BE Here's their summary. BE New product development for the period included the launch of Domino's Stuffed Crust and the new Gourmet range. The latter was supported by the sponsorship of ITV's Red or Black. Both are reported as performing well. NH I thought NH Red or Black bombed BE Perhaps the logic is: "wow, this is awful. I'd rather pay £20 to eat a pizza than watch this turgid nonsense." BE But more comment, from Liberum. BE Domino's have reported an IMS this morning. YTD group LFLs are +2.9% and +3.9% for this 13 week period. Management remain confident of achieving FY11 expectations. However the macro-economic outlook remains challenging. We leave our numbers unchanged. Exceptional and scalable business model. A premium valuation is warranted. However a CY12 P/E of 23.8x leaves little margin for error and requires upgrades at the full year results to sustain the rating. NH what NH 24 times NH prespective NH for a pizza company NH what sort of madness is that? BE It's a GROWTH pizza company. BE Endless expansion possibilities NH it's not NH those like for likes NH are below forecast NH and they had the full benefit of stuffed crust, Gourmet pizza NH growth, I don't think so NH and all that ad spend NH with Red or Black NH I'd say disappointing BE 698 stores in the UK already. NH is that right NH wow NH that's a lot of shops BE One shop per 88,000 people. | ![]() philanderer

26/9/2011 10:59 | Monday 26th September 2011, 2:51am DOMINOS NOT ABOUT TO TUMBLE SHARES in Dominos Pizza tumbled below 500p on Friday. However, spread betters have been in a largely positive mood ahead of the firm's results on Wednesday. The long-term trend has been upwards for the firm over the past year, as penny-pinching Britons shun meals out for takeaway pizzas at home. Traders were anticipating longer-term gains to help push shares back towards highs at the start of 2011, which came close to 590p. Now might be the time to get a slice of the action. Spreadex quotes Dominos Pizza at 496.2p-500.8p. | ![]() philanderer
