22/10/2008 12:43 | Carroll, fear not, I was buying many moons ago when others saw little interest. My previous post merely cautioned against over-exuberance in these difficult times. | spaceparallax
22/10/2008 11:27 | Think it will get taken out 190 - 200p Most other shares are in red today. | oohrogerpalmer

21/10/2008 17:11 | looking back some 10 years this was hot stock and rose to over 300p. It is run well, a sound company with great cash flow,IMHO i see it returning to those levels quite soon.A safe port in stormy weather. | carroll
21/10/2008 10:13 | it was cut and pasted a few posts back, maybe that would suffice for you? | elmfield
21/10/2008 09:39 | I have been unable to read the link 'due to high server load'. Anyone else having this problem?. | littleweed
21/10/2008 09:33 | sent the FT link to DTK: Thought they should know what we are looking for! Dear --------, Thank you for the link. No updates as yet, we'll be sure to keep investors informed with developments as appropriate, Kind regards, | elmfield
20/10/2008 13:45 | HOLTS :- depends what you mean by a blockbuster price, cant see it being less than £2.00 as LMS have to get the other large shareholders onboard,if they have not already got the promise of their vote.that israeli newspaper story leaking the bid news said that LMS and dmatek were in advanced negotiations,if that is the case then the large shareholders might already be onboard and its just a matter of dotting the i's and crossing the t's before all shareholders can vote on it,if dmatek are in agreement with the bid.only time will tell. as always dyor | funchalman
20/10/2008 10:35 | lms are quite conservative , hence the position they find themselves in, I am encouraged that they have the relationship with one of the large holders, but we are clearly not going to get a blockbuster price..... I know , stating the obvious. | holts
20/10/2008 09:13 | oohrogerpalmer:- no time indication,it will take as long as it takes. look for a sudden large movement in price, that will probably tell you an announcement is due the next day.the direction of the movement will tell you the answer on the bid. | funchalman
20/10/2008 09:04 | Is there any sort of time indication of news on this be it yes or no ??? | oohrogerpalmer
20/10/2008 08:48 | Dr Know :- thanks for that article,it just about sums up my feelings on the deal.the main reason this bid has come about is the shareprice performance over the last few years has not really valued dmatek at its true potential.its just unfortunate that this has come about at a time of a market crash and did not happen last year. as always dyor | funchalman
20/10/2008 08:39 | and opportunity creates wealth | cambium
20/10/2008 08:30 | this market creates Opportunity. | elmfield
19/10/2008 18:26 | Looking at the rate of growth of this co it is not difficult to see a doubling of op profit in the next 4 to 5 years to £8m. LMS could then pick a time to sell it back to the market at a big profit. If £44m was the offer they could use say £20m debt and £24m equity. Cash flow would easily cover interest costs. If they could IPO it on a good day for 14 times op profit then the value would be £112m. Pay off the £20m debt and pocket £92m. Not bad for a £24m investment. Or is it daylight robbery? That is how investment firms make money. From opportunistic investments when others sleep. | gerdmuller
16/10/2008 18:14 | well I tried for 5k up to 10k at 135 on the phone to dealers and they did not want to know, | elmfield |
