12/2/2009 13:54 | well i ticked the yes box, would have liked a bit more but in these markets it ain't bad, got quite a block so thought I should vote! | elmfield
11/2/2009 13:33 | they are offering 210 on anything over a 1000 , but showing nms as 50000, anyone with access can you look at whose offering what. edit last 5 trades on plus markets 11/02/2009 09:07:07 197.90 340 O 672.86 11/02/2009 08:39:59 198.00 10,000 O 19,800.00 11/02/2009 08:39:56 198.00 10,000 O 19,800.00 11/02/2009 08:14:47 198.00 10,000 O 19,800.00 11/02/2009 08:14:45 198.00 10,000 O 19,800.00 | holts
11/2/2009 10:05 | Still nearly 5% return in just over a month. Not bad in these volatile markets ? | oohrogerpalmer
11/2/2009 08:51 | The price looks to be a long way off the level of the bid, but the price I was quoted today to buy just 2000 shares was 205p - not so far awar from the offer. | sammu
09/2/2009 13:31 | cavendish have about 9 percent if my memory serves me right, they together with some of the directors are taking up equity in the new company.inflexion are taking the cash and have given irrevocable undertakings to support the bid.i know germuller said that there are soft irrevocable undertakings in case another bid comes in,however i dont think thats the case here otherwise it would have been in the posted circular.the other large shareholders presumably are taking the cash, and hopefully it is these perhaps who may push behind the scenes for further cash inducement, although i wouldnt hold me breath over it.as for francisco any shares they buy now is money saved, and further yes votes. | funchalman
09/2/2009 09:36 | cavendish et al have accepted an all share deal. so price is irrelevant for them | cambium
06/2/2009 09:08 | well theres more activity in the shares now since probably the tech bubble era. i would imagine francisco are buying up shares as well, why pay £2.15 when they can buy for 196 or so now.i would think the big shareholders will say "yes" to the merger, which should ensure the bid goes through.just hoping that some of them are pressing dmatek behind the scenes to try and get a bit more cash. | funchalman
05/2/2009 20:58 | There is a possibility that the shareholders will reject the bid, it _is_ a real bargain. Especially in dollar terms, I think it is actually at a discount to the price it was 18 months ago. Although I have to admit I topped up @ 195p recently. | taylor20
05/2/2009 20:52 | well some large fortunes have been lost recently, but for those who still have cash on the hip opportunity will beckon.no regrets over holding dmatek over the years the management are excellent, pity i cannot say that about some of the other small shares i have held over the years. | funchalman
05/2/2009 20:40 | In all the takeovers on the stockmarket i have never known a share price so far below the offer price ?? It must soon move up because there is any easy 7-8% to be made or they know something we don't ?? | oohrogerpalmer
05/2/2009 20:01 | fortunes are made in a bear market, that is how it works! anyway suppose it has not been that a bad place to have had money in! | elmfield
05/2/2009 19:29 | this will not be completed until the necessary votes are gained at the egm,25th feb.asked my nominee provider if i could vote and they said yes,so have told them to vote yes for the merger, even though i know francisco partners are getting a bargain.i think what finally decided me was my last purchase of shares in dmatek at 116.2p one day after dmatek admitted it was in talks with inflexion.the shares had gone up to 132 i think, on that news, and then backdown again 24 hrs later to 116p even though the talk was of a £2 a share offer, just plain silly.just dont think pension funds and other investment funds have been buying small shares like dmatek, hence the lowly shareprice.will be rethinking my investment strategy in future.longterm holds maybe will have to go. | funchalman
05/2/2009 14:26 | Letter from selftrade saying this had completed subject to the egm. Odd the share price is so far off the offer. Well reading it again I think thats what the letter says. | littleweed
27/1/2009 08:37 | sold mine monday am and put it into Barclays - Already made twice the 20p i lost by selling early !!. Good luck others. | oohrogerpalmer
27/1/2009 07:22 | KBC now making the stock in 25k as opposed to 1k | patrader
26/1/2009 13:02 | 5% a month, pretty good rate of return. | taylor20
26/1/2009 10:33 | End of March seems to be the date, Selftrade sent me this: Further to our message dated 5 January 2009: the transaction, which is subject to shareholder approval, certain regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, is currently expected to close by the end of March 2009. A Circular to Shareholders will be despatched as early as possible and contain full details of the proposed transaction and the Merger Agreement as well as convene an extraordinary general meeting at which the resolutions necessary to approve the transaction will be proposed. 25 Feb 2009 EGM and Class Meetings | taylor20
22/1/2009 21:21 | egm on 25th feb,if the vote is yes, then probably have our money end of march. circulars for the vote have been posted. | funchalman
22/1/2009 19:11 | Does anybody know a timetable for T/O ?? | oohrogerpalmer
22/1/2009 17:44 | Maybe they are very rich but stupid? | eagle eye
22/1/2009 15:57 | other opportunities? | cambium
22/1/2009 15:48 | why would someone pop out 150,000 at 1.95 to miss out on 30k ? | holts
21/1/2009 19:28 | a counter bid would have been terrific, but never really believed one would come as this bid has always looked well and truly tied up,just a matter of the votes.personally will vote yes,if nominee accounts get a vote,i think its time to move on.unfortunate because the business was really starting to accelerate but the shareprice was not,and in the end thats why its going, bloody sad really as cheap as chips, as someone would say. | funchalman
21/1/2009 17:50 | 10% on our holdings over next couple of months, better than a lot of other things! wonder if counter bid will come, starting to doubt it, so looks like 215 it is! | elmfield
21/1/2009 10:11 | What's the timetable for the bid? | mctmct |
