I sent an email containing a copy&paste of the entire dividend transaction, details of how much I believe I should have been paid, reason why I think they've deducted too much withholding tax, my account number, account holders name and a copy&paste of w-8ben status.

All I got back was;

Dear Client ,

Cant make head nor tail out of my IG payment (I've just emailed them for clarification) and AJ Bell used 0.68 as the conversion rate for my holdings there!!

Bazboa - are your shares in SIPP, ISA or fully taxed?

This is what you should get on those numbers;

SIPP 1,137 x 0.875 x 0.7869455 = £782.91
ISA -15% = £665.00
outside ISA -30% = £548.04

Just trying to figure out if they've screwed up for everybody, or just me.

Looks to be correct from what I can tell in the history section Eg. 1137@0.875 converted at 0.7869455

did IG pay you the correct dividend?
They've deducted 30% withholding tax from payment into my ISA.
I've checked and the w-8ben is still active.

It has yet to arrive in my account!
Perhaps DEC and HL between them are determined that i should savour the anticipation of receiving the final bumper dividend for as long as possible.

More likely a combination of reinvestment and one of the shorters reducing. We are in for one BIG correction northwards once the latter have had their fill (IMO). ;-)
