The shorters will need to close, they are playing a dangerous game.

on the constant metrics they should be buying shares back. because they can not know tommorows share price so if it makes lot of sense to BB - they should be doing it. BB is not about speculation on fluctuation. it is above that imho. it is about creating value when it makes sense - regardless of the daily fluctuations

but they can not see constant metrics i am afraid .... so they stopped BB - to preserve cash probably

On DEC Management is dead certain that more buybacks are worth it but for the past few months all DEC buybacks were throwing good money away , I am damn sure the Management is confused and puzzled and even begins to lose confidence . Definitely under £10 later on . Tell me who the hell wants to add n more now when they know they can buy cheaper later or even tomorrow or next week . Normally with such high juicy yield , everyone would jump on it but not this counter . Smart investors can smell blood 🩸

If DEC resumed buybacks at this level I think the price would soon rise.

yes ... today is probably collecting the cheap shares for the arbitrage purposes and shorts closing + reloading the shorting profit for the move up imho

yes ... makes my concerns .... dec is trying to preserve cash... if 100 pc sure.... buyback would continue at steady pace

but then again ... prudent management

This is a ‘blood sucking‘ counter.
Every time the Co. stops doing the buyback for a few days , DEC revisits its low or breaking new low . Nothing DEC can do to stop this 😞 😞. AVOiD

Its surely low vol and coupled with a shorting attack into the pattern, ie. double bottom?

Posted this before, but for the doubters, well worth a read, paying particular attention to the comments on PwC (their auditors) and DEC's projected (and actual) well plugging costs. ;-)

This does not reflect well for the NYSE either though. They held a formal ceremony for DEC only a week ago, got them to ring the closing bell etc. share price behaving like it is a rogue company.

Well a 100% return from here is almost guaranteed imo + dividends on top

Be careful with statements like that Topaz, you can be arrested for taking drugs as well as dealing them you know.

New all time lows broken, just as I said.

Congress will be FUMING, we all know that and if anyone thinks they wont be then they have no idea how US politics work.
In a few days more letters will be announced and they will be crucifying of DEC.
When they come expect + 20% drop in a single day.

I think if the truth be known we all know that, just some are trying to con others into not accepting that (Are you Topaz?)

I have been saying for weeks this will touch all time lows just as Topaz has been saying as well.

Congress will not take lightly the rebufal and we can expect some rather horrendous bigger drops here.
£10.00 isnt going to provide support at all, nearer £6 might.

I dont understand why people would consider buying this when the knives are so clearly out for DEC
