12/5/2017 14:38 | Paul Scott of Stockopedia rated DGB as a total punt. I have been saying similar for 3months, I hope the rampers lost out. A directors benefit share, with their wage bill I can't see a profit for shareholders this side of the 12th of never. A discounted heavily diluting placing a certainty IMHO. | melton john
10/5/2017 19:03 | Just looking in here after a tip.It seems like sales growth is strong, and has decent institutional support for now.But it's hard to understand how it has a market cap of £45M, when it is losing £10M a year and only has a few mill left in the bank (unless it takes up the debt facility, which is surely at least half utilised, and will only last 6 months in that case) ?£20M a year administration costs - WTF!!Can anyone advise whether it's technology actually has any moat - IP etc? From scanning a few RNSes it doesn't sound like it?Thanks. | cyberbub

03/5/2017 10:19 | probably not gone through the cash - but if they are going after big step change US govt contracts then Customers invariably will want to see you are well funded to take them on and meet the committments of the contracts and can deal with any issues that may occur. So if you want to grow slow you manage but if you want to grab share either through bigger deals or more volume deals then funding may well be needed - and that is where I think we are. (especially whilst your product is flavour of the month and there are no real competitors you take advantage) | felix99

02/5/2017 20:48 | The placing's getting close then. Get all the II's keen on all this clever stuff that is so good DGB can't make a profit on selling it. Discounted placing?? | melton john
02/5/2017 08:24 | Does DGB undersell itself regarding PR? Amidst all the strong supportive news in today's RNS, why the following seemingly significant item given only a passing reference in Zak Doffman's comment: ".........this month a similar framework agreement for ThruVis led to the first sale of the technology into the mainland China mass transportation market, part of a significant ongoing procurement programme." Have I missed something? Or does DGB believe in letting the walking do the talking? Better than the converse anyway. | hew

21/4/2017 06:50 | Market report, Daily Mail, Surveillance firm Digital Barriers shot up after securing a £5.6 million contract to provide equipment to an unnamed, ‘major’ US federal law enforcement agency. It follows several smaller contracts awarded to the firm by the US government this month worth £630,000 and brings its total contracted sales for the current financial year to £15 million. 20/4/2017 08:34 | Excellent news. For a non-American "outsider" to get US gov't contracts like this leads me to think there's no real competition, at least not in the US. | bone apart
20/4/2017 06:16 | $8.0 million US Government Contract Awards Digital Barriers (AIM: DGB), the specialist provider of visually intelligent solutions to the global surveillance, security and safety markets, is pleased to announce the award of a contract with a major US federal law enforcement agency and existing customer valued at $7.2 million. This latest contract award follows the signature of several smaller awards with other US government customers this month, valued in combination at $0.8 million. These contracts are all expected to be delivered in full in the current financial year. In total, the Group now has approximately £15 million in contracted sales already secured for delivery in the current financial year. | aishah
