Thanks for your replies, I was trying to get some discussion going and the first time it fell on stony ground. I don't do shorts or spread betting, don't know how and too long in the tooth to start now. What credibility Felix, I've told you where I got the information from so you can check. Not my alternative facts. "every dog has its day" I think this dog has.
AISHAH, interesting announcement but they seem to be giving it away. Never seen such horrendous profit margins, for every £100 sale, they have been losing £70 averaged over the last 6 years. Their business would look better if they sacked all the salesmen and sold nothing. Maybe they should get some new salesmen who can sell a £100 worth of stock for £170 instead of £170 worth for £100. That could work.
Terrible chart, seems like a big seller can't wait to offload on every announcement.
Perhaps he can see a fund raising coming and wants to buy cheaper, £3.4M wont last long even with £10M credit from Investec Bank. Where have I heard that name? Oh yes the house broker is Investec Bank but that's no reason why they should say DGB is a strong buy. I'm sure they are honest and objective.

lol must be an echo in here or Melton John - why cut and paste same post as earlier to try and rubbish stock . You may be correct who knows but I think your credibility just took a hit :-). Good luck with the short hopefully you will need it but time will tell as ever.

I would just further say every dog has its day and maybe its time is now.

Sharewatch comments from November:
Digital Barriers - US$10m+ of orders for ThruVis

44p Epic code: DGB
(Sharewatch) There has been a string of announcements since September including US$10m of contracts with various US law enforcement agencies for its ThruVis camera technology for mass-transit security that can detect objects such as weapons and explosives concealed under clothing.
For the six months to end September, Digital Barriers said that sales, which will include Brimtek for the first time, are expected to be double that achieved last year. Both organic revenue and adjusted losses are expected to be broadly flat year-on-year, although neither of these include the benefit of material US government contracts, which will be delivered in H2. Including the September contract awards, the Group has secured approximately 50% of the Board's revenue expectation for the financial year as a whole. Strong hold.

Another $9.1m worth of contracts won since and price off by around 20%. Lots more to come here imo. dyor

DGB are exhibiting at the Sold out SO/LIC - Feb 13th to 15th:

SO/LIC takes place annually in the Washington, DC area to reach the decision makers at the Pentagon and other government agencies.
This conference is to engage industry and government to meet the needs of U.S. Special Operations and to interface with interagency operations to achieve national military and security strategic objectives.

USSOCOM is looking for your products and services to implement emerging and innovative technologies in an effort to link information with allies, U.S. Intelligence community members and interagency law enforcement partners in the battle against terrorism.

To help meet these needs, the SO/LIC exhibition provides the platform for companies to present new products in which U.S. military and international law enforcement, and intelligence organizations, can purchase to implement in this battle. As the global field becomes more lethal to the enemy, our troops must leverage and add what may have been traditionally viewed as law enforcement techniques, tactics and procedures to their programs.

Ive picked some up here today.

Just the situation i like, share price sold off , with artificial suppression by a seller.

But strong institutional backing , strong interest and interesting products. A lot of the investment already paid for!!

Now sit back and wait for the orders?

STRONG CANDIDATE FOR RECOVERY AT THIS PRICE - BUY!

Gaining traction with recent contract wins. Strong pipeline of £150m over the next year or so to go for.

As for the Mexican wall, DGB reckons using their technology the cost is only around 5% of building a physical barrier. £8 billion or more banded about for a physical barrier. Do the maths of the opportunity that DGB have here. When asked if they are in talks with Trump's people:

"We won't be discussing, and never have discussed, if we are in talks with US border control authorities, and any other border authorities – as this would be confidential information. Regardless, if we did win a deal, as a listed company we would have to announce the win on the RNS," said a spokesman.

You look through the last few weeks and based on the buy sell volumes, it looks like 3.5m buys vs < 1m sells, assuming the ? are sells, 80% shares held by institutions with over 3%, so where are the shares being bought coming from. Is there a very large overhang from some time ago being held by brokers?, thoughts appreciated

Trump might come up trumps for DGB if his team choose them for the Mexican wall. If that happens then its bonanza time!!

Same for me, been watching for months, but this mornings RNS was the tipping point. Managing the next few months from a cash perspective looks like it'll be challenging, but the upside is massive assuming they can navigate through.

Still heavily invested in Kromek - not been a great call so far, but remain bullish as like DGN it is massively well positioned to benefit from the sadly turbulent world we live in.
