I like DKL, as not only is it primed to benefit in its imminent high season from rocketing CPO prices, but it's also about diversify into higher margin and less volatile cashew nut production.

Plus it's a reasonably tightly held microcap, so the upside is that much greater when the market latches on.

Which one out of the CPO plays is the best placed to benefit from the CPO recovery, dkl, re., re.b, aep and mpe?

I hold aep, re. and re.b. with aep safer being profitable and debt free and re. more leveraged and speculative.

The Rea CPO price chart won't be updated now until January.

But this CPO futures chart shows the price is still rocketing upwards and is at new highs today:

Looks like a sell tip out there - No reason to sell just as the UK is locked down that I can see.
Thoughts?

Don't know if this has been posted https://www.theafricareport.com/39810/cote-divoire-process-cashews-to-fight-the-smugglers-say-dekel/There is also a further 2 links down the page that may be of interest, nothing to in-depth but gross margins on cashews appear to be 10 percent higher than palm oil, 35% v's 25%.

A very very long term risk - "a synthetic alternative "

but I suspect that most of us will have passed on before it comes to pass!!

3. Not me, but if there was a placing it would only be to accelerate investment into projects, which typically have been on value-accretive basis, so not especially worried about the idea. Ask again at 10p :)

1. Wet season in Africa is over. Hence, likely the good weather.

2. I'm waiting for the RNS stating the final shipment of Cashew processing equipment has left Italy. Last RNS regarding this said shipment 3 out of 4 had left Italy.

3. Does anyone think this share price rise (which I'm very happy with) is a prelude to a placing?

New construction video uploaded:
According to the commentary the building should be handed over tomorrow with containers arriving for installation... great to see it is progressing well.

DKL should update soon on their debt refinancing which was planned to happen this H2 but it won't surprise me if delayed into Q121.

When the mms don't want the shares £10k trades are a big deal. Clearly not the case right now.

Although 171K buy was interesting it has been more than matched by a 238K sell at 10.15. What's surprising to me is that the share price continues to head north on such relatively low volumes, which is very encouraging. Hopefully the news is spreading about CPO prices and the anticipated high season due shortly, as well as the commissioning of the cashew processing plant in March 2021.

Nice 171,000 share purchase just reported at 4.375p - nicely above the 4.3p full offer price. Very keen.
